Since the Pokémon Sword and Shield characters had little screen time in the first appearance of the sisters who hated Tokyo Mirage Sessions, now it's time to give them their spotlight, alongside some other characters from the Pokémon franchise, and one character that I couldn't leave behind.
Today's story starts in the little town of Ballonlea, with the Champion Elaine talking with her two close friends, Victor and Hop, about their progress in the Gym Challenge of Galar, which is the entrance to the Champion Cup, and this being the prelude to the championship match against Elaine. And since the competition is getting close, only the best ones can challenge her.
Well, let's see what happens with these friends.

Elaine Santillan Rivera: It seems you two couldn't get most of the surprise exam correct, eh?
Hop: It was the forest's fault... It's so complicated and scary.
Victor: Most of those questions were hard... I think Miss Sally wanted to confuse us like there was no tomorrow.
Elaine Santillan Rivera: I see. Well, maybe I should also use tricky questions in my championship battle. That way, maybe competition wouldn't be so easy.
Lizeth Santillan Rivera: Battling you isn't so easy, Sister.
Hop: What are you doing here, Lizeth?
Lizeth Santillan Rivera: I'm also participating in the challenges. In any case that my sister loses the championship, if it lands on my hands, the Santillan Rivera dynasty keeps on living.
Victor: And what are you doing here, Elaine? Shouldn't you be worried that your reign may meet its end?
Elaine Santillan Rivera: Well, considering that my team could be the equivalent of Cynthia's Garchomp or Ghetsis' Hydreigon for the challengers, it may take some time for my reign to meet its end.
Hop: Who are those people?
Elaine Santillan Rivera: I'll explain to you later. And I'm here because, out of all the competition, you three are the ones who I want to keep an eye out for.
Lizeth Santillan Rivera: Did you hear what happened in the ruins of Stow-on-Side?
Elaine Santillan Rivera: Yeah. It's sad that we lost one challenger to the competition, but Bede was asking for disqualification after vandalizing an ancient mural that the town had as a touristic site.
Hop: Hey, after everything he's done to us, I think this was the punishment he deserved.
Victor: You got a valid point. His arrogance wasn't going to take him anywhere...
Elaine Santillan Rivera: To celebrate your progress, I say we go somewhere fancy.
Lizeth Santillan Rivera: Where?
Elaine Santillan Rivera: Where else? The Captain's Table, obviously!
Hop: Great!
Lizeth Santillan Rivera: Good.
Hop: I wonder how our enemy is going to take his disqualification...
Victor: Well, I think he's going to blame us for the decision that President Rose took on his case...
Lizeth Santillan Rivera: I'm sure he wasn't going to win anyway.
Elaine Santillan Rivera: *Sigh* I'll admit, I think I'm going to miss his attitude.
Hop: To be honest, I would have loved if we had gotten a rivalry with Marnie instead.
Victor: Leave that to Gloria. She's the one who would be interested in a rivalry with Marnie.
