And damn, did you ever, because it wasn't until you hit the light over the piano did you see your footprint on the floor. "Oh hell no." You went digging through your things, searching wildly for a mask to keep your sinuses from attacking you worse than you already knew they would. "Found it!" You put it on almost as quickly as your game face.

Sleeves rolled high along with your pant legs, you got to it. "How the hell did Chihiro..." You steadied yourself on the balls of your feet, hands gripped to a cleaning towel as you shot across the floor. You thought by your third wipe down you'd have the hang of it. Turned out it was harder than it looked on the television. Surprise surprise. You rolled your eyes, darting under the table and chairs as they floated high above your head. Setting them back as soon as you finished, you stood and stretched. Your back letting out the most satisfying crack.

It was your turn to float now, wiping down the lighting fixtures and then the windows from top to bottom. "I'm charging for this." You shook your head. "I don't know what but I'm charging." Mumbling, you continued wiping. A little too hard, you concluded, when one of the windows rotated, opening to the pool. "That's pretty cool."

You let yourself out, refusing to let your feet touch the concrete. Not wanting to track anything back inside after all that elbow grease you put into those floors. You floated over the pool cover, gazing over the yard and then the skyline. It's so pretty at night. A few more moments were taken for yourself until a cool breeze coaxed you to go back inside. "Oh shit." Turning back, you saw yourself, and everything you were just admiring in the one sided windows. I guess that makes sense. You went back inside, closing what you knew now was a door, and wiped it clean of your fingerprints.

"Fucking ssshhhiiiii-" Finally finished, you crawled into bed with muscles sore and a belly full of take out. It was decided then, as you snuggled into your bear, that there would be no gym runs for the next few days. You'd done your weeks worth of workout. Your new lights set to a deep violet, you let yourself drift to a blissful rest.

Knock knock knock.

What was a blissful sleep. You mumbled something close to a 'yes', the sound of your door cracking filling the room. "I'm back..." Yagi's voice followed soon after. "Welcome home." You pushed yourself up, checking the time. Slept for a whopping three hours. The clock was pushing 4am. "I didn't mean to wake you, I thought you'd still be up." He spoke softly, only his head visible as he talked to you from the door.

"It's alright." You wiped the sleep from your eyes. "How was it?"

"Awful." A short answer, but it held a lot of weight with his tone when it was said.

"Yikes." You gave the side of your bed a pat, speaking through a yawn. "Come sit. Come tell."

"I'll let you sleep."

"No, you've got me invested now." You pushed Sir Stuffington higher against the headboard, making room for Yagi to sit. He stepped in finally, taking his seat near you. "I could say the same." Tiny reflections of your lights in his eyes as he looked up at the work you'd done. "Hm? Oh." You scooted closer, knowing where the conversation was headed. "I thought you liked me in purple." You attempted to deflect. "...I do. It's not the color, it's how." You shrugged. "I jumped."

"You jumped?" An eyebrow of his quirked at you, as he just barely glanced over his shoulder at your shit eating grin. "I did." You nodded again, he sighed. "But back to you."

"What about me?" You watched his attention travel to the plush rug under his feet. "Why are you in sweats?" Quick, but you felt like you could've done better with that one. "Should I have flown back in a suit?" He questioned in reply. "I guess not." You yawned again. "Oof, excuse me." You tried to shake yourself just a bit more awake. "What ruined your trip, big guy?"

"Can't ruin something that was screwed from the beginning." He puffed. "I'm sorry to hear that." You offered your sympathy. "Don't be. The Commission's just riding my ass." Yagi shook it off. "With no lube? Damn that sucks." That got him to chuckle. "They didn't even offer."

"Rude." You rolled your eyes. "You wanna hug it out?" Yagi thought over what you offered. "...Sure." Your grin was back halfway now. "Yeaaah. Bring it in." You pushed past Sir Stuffington, covers bunched up in your lap while you went for the embrace. You felt a little too comfortable a little too fast. Don't fall asleep. Don't do it. Your head relaxed on his shoulder, while his chin rested on your crown.

"I like it." Toshi said after a while of silence.

"Like what?"

"The lights." He answered. "And the rug."

"Oh yeah? Thanks."

"What else were you up to these few days?" He breathed, trying to distract himself from whatever was running through his mind with your past itinerary. "Nothing really until today." Is what you gave for an answer. "Oh? What happened?" He pressed. "I explored the house." You said proudly. "Find anything interesting?" Yagi chuckled.

"A very specific floor cleaner that you're now out of."

"Eh?" He pulled back just the slightest bit. "Eh?" You mocked. "There was...so much dust."

"Where?"

"Dining room." And the space with the piano and the den.

"I-" He puffed. "I don't really go in there." Or use your piano. "I kinda figured, you're always on the move." You gave his back a reassuring rub. "We're going to put it to use, believe you me." You said confidently, feeling a smile tug at his cheeks. "Thank-"

"Nope!" You cut him off. "No 'thanks'. In exchange...I want you to release me from the bet." He snorted. "Not happening, name something else." Did he have to shoot me down so fast? "Toshiiiii!" You groaned. "Please!"

"Can't do it. That was a good try." He gave you a pat, you strayed away from his hold to eye him. "Just tell me what it is you want already."

"I don't know yet." He pulled you back in. "Toshi." You tried your best to sound stern. "Hm?"

"I-" There it was again, that feeling from a few nights ago. Heart slowing and tense muscles going slack. I think I was right about the hug deprived thing... You frowned internally, gripping a little tighter. "Nevermind."

Dozing. Your hold began to loosen when your head popped up, rousing you. "I'll go." Yagi began setting you free. You checked the time as he did. Damn it's been almost an hour. "Are you sure?" You asked, turning back to him as he nodded. I don't know about that one chief. "Wait." You grabbed his wrist as he moved to stand, he looked to you. "What's wr-"

"Sleep with me."

"You have got to stop saying it like that." Yagi laughed. "You know what I mean!" You shot. "Mm, and what about...?" He motioned to your stuffed animal. You, after no contemplation, pushed Sir Stuffington off the bed. "I won't tell if you don't."
