"Knock knock?" Yagi poked his head through the crack in your door. "Yo." You sat up in bed, phone in hand and television on, lighting the room blue. "Can I come in?" He spoke softly. "Of course. What's up?" You watched as he walked up to the side of your bed. "Nothing really." He shrugged, taking hold of your stuffed bear. "What are you doing with Sir Stuffington?" Your brows knitted. "Just making sure he's comfortable on the floor." Toshi explained, tossing the bear into the closest corner. "UM?" Your lip curled

"I'm just gonna slide in right here if that's alright." The hero pulled your covers back, adjusting himself comfortably at your side. Back resting against the headboard, he spent a few seconds watching what you had playing on the television before acknowledging the daggers you were glaring into his temple. "What?"

"Are you going to apologize?" You frowned.

"I'm sorry I moved your bear." He snorted, and you scoffed. "Not to me, to Sir Stuffington."

"No. Why would I do that?" So you came in here to start shit again. You took mental note. Toshi's bored? Maybe in a silly goofy mood? He's coming to find me and start shit.

"You took his spot." You continued. Yagi wasted no time correcting you. "No. He took mine." He shot an accusatory point to your stuffed animal and then to the side of the bed he resided in.

"He did not-!"

"What are you watching? It looks interesting." He looked away from you and back to the tv, obviously not planning to let you plead Sir Stuffington's case. Wooooooow. "You're just gonna change the subject?" You leaned forward and in front of him in an attempt to catch his eye.

"Yup. So what is this? Why are they arguing?" Didn't work. You puffed and sat back, pointing at the characters as you explained. "Her wife just found out she's been lying the whole time."

"Why's she been lying?"

"She faked her death and ran away to another country. Made up a whole backstory on how she was a foster child that ran away from an abusive home, so the wife never pressed her about her past."

"How'd she find out she faked her death?"

"The wife is still in the process of moving in from her old place while the MC was at work. This rando comes over and offers to help. He starts asking a bunch of weird and personal questions, takes a picture of her, and runs off."

Might turned away from the tv, looking at you. "So the wife calls the MC about what happened, and the MC starts freaking out. Like, over the next few days she's on edge and the wife starts going through her old things and finds out at the very least there's a very big lie going on."

"Why'd she do it?" Might crossed his arms.

"She made deals with some shady people and couldn't hold up her end. She went on the run for a while, and to keep them from getting her family involved, she faked her death."

"Shit.."

"I know." You took a deep breath after your monologuing. "Must be nice." Yagi continued, looking back to the screen. "Which part?" You snorted. "Just disappearing like that." He ran a hand through his hair.

"You thought about faking your end, Toshi?"

"Find me someone who hasn't."

"Fair enough...would you do it?" You leaned in with you question.

"I don't know," He shrugged. "Do I get to keep you around?"

"That's not how that works."

"We can bend the rules a little, it's fine."
