It was finally the weekend, and after a long week of classes - especially for Anna, who had to catch up from her skipped classes - the quartet was sat in front of the fire in the Gryffindor Common Room. Anna was sat away from the fire in an armchair while the other three sat on the couch.

They were chatting about various things that happened through the week. Just insignificant small talk. While Anna still had yet to explain her story with Caspar and Reeve, she was holding off.

The damaged girl was just happy to be in a setting of normalcy. They hadn't mentioned the upcoming war or Caspar's wrongdoing whatsoever. Nor was there any talk of her and Harry's history or visions of Voldemort.

Currently Hermione was complaining about the absurd amounts of essays they had to write and how she swore that this time she wouldn't do the boys' essays for them.

Just like she swore every single week.

Then the conversation switched to Ron complaining about Lavender. They had split two weeks ago, but the girl couldn't take no for an answer.

"Bloody hell, my lips are finally healed. They were chapped for months...months, I tell you!" he exclaimed, and Anna couldn't suppress a giggle as he puckered up in Harry's face. "Aren't I so kissable again, mate?"

"Get off me, Ron! You're foul."

"Maybe you should ask Hermione instead?" asked Anna with a smirk. "Remind me...weren't you moaning her name in the hospital wing? And that's why you and Lavender broke up?"

Ron gagged, "I'm convinced you guys are making that bloody story up-"

"So, Anna, you never explained what happened with Caspar," Hermione chimed in quickly.

The blonde groaned, mustering the energy to tell the story. Her and Harry were the only two who know, and Harry respected her by not telling Hermione and Ron. It wasn't his story to tell.

"So, long story short, Harry and I ran into Caspar and Reeve snogging."

Ron and Hermione gasped, immediately asking questions. Anna held a hand up and continued.

"I talked to Caspar after a few days and he explained that he thought he was put under a love potion. He thought it may have been Reeve who did it. I know he didn't do it willingly. He genuinely does love me."

"So, you guys, erm, worked it out then?" asked Harry, trying to hide his disappointment.

"Oh, no, I still broke it off with him," she said with a sad smile. "It's nothing against him, I just feel like a relationship during the war isn't a good idea. Besides, the four of us need to stick together, we wouldn't have room for a fifth person is Caspar stayed in the picture."

"What about Reeve?"

Anna bit her lip and looked down. She felt a tug at her heart thinking about the girl she saved two years ago from homelessness. One of her best friends besides the three.

She initially was angry at Reeve despite not being able to grasp the wrongdoing Caspar accused her of. The thing is, Reeve approached her too, also providing a believable story.

"Well, Reeve actually came to me and was so upset. She took a truth serum and proved herself innocent. So, her and Caspar were both telling the truth. We decided that it had to have been someone else who did it. Maybe it was a set-up gone wrong? Or someone was out to get them. I'm not sure. At this point, I've forgiven both of them and am moving on."

"Anna...do you not know?" asked Hermione carefully.

"Know what?"

She took a deep breath, "Well, Anna...Caspar and Reeve are gone. They've left Hogwarts."
