03: DELTA CLASS
Tell me, did someone hit my head? Or did someone punch me really hard? Why am I always hearing about descendants—whatever is that. I know what’s the meaning of Descendants, but it feels like the descendants here are so precious.
I frowned on how the three students in front of me reacts when they heard Sir Francis saying Descendants. Kalyana took my paper. Aamie smiling at me widely.
“Delta.” Kalyana murmured. She looked at me seriously. “So, you are the one who…”
“Tell me, student.” Sir Francis started. “Who is your Deity?”
I blinked twice—thrice—or even a hundred! Tama naman yung narinig ko ‘di ba? Wait, anong Deity?
I must leave this school immediately. I knew it!
I really knew it! As I entered the gate, the way how the students looked at me, the ambiance of this school, the Principal, the students, the buildings, the earthquake, the water, the—everything! Yes, it was like a Royale palace. Yes, the students shouting their high-class selfness. Yes, this place is the place you’ve really wanted in your life.
“You know what. You’re crazy.” I said before turning and walk towards the same way as I get here. Ugh! Feeling ko mababaliw na rin ako.
“W-w-wait.” Sir Francis stopped when I started to walk out of this school. He’s in front of me at yung tatlo naman ay nasa likod ko. I sighed. Nasa katinuan pa naman ako para umalis. Kaya kung ano man ang sabihin ng mga baliw na ‘to, aalis at aalis talaga ko. “Listen, Miss…”
“Dilleon.” Kalyana continued when she read my name written on my Validation of Transferee.
“Okay, So Ms. Dilleon. I know this is hard to believe—”
“YEAH! It is! So please get out of my way, I’ll go home.” I cut Sir Francis off. I started to walk and bump Sir Francis really hard. It was cold, really cold.
I froze when I saw what it is. Literally FROZE.
Am I dreaming? Now, I see myself in jail—with this ice. Fvckshit!
I want to punch him! Really hard! Bwisit.
“Is this your thing?” naiinis na sambit ko. Oh, God.
I saw my hand trembled with that thought. No, I should not go back to my old self. I clenched my fist to stop but still I feel the same way before.
