"Abigail!"

I look up from the movie playing on my portable DVD player and I pause it immediately.

"What Ben?" I call back, annoyed that he has interupted me from watching my favourite movie, Ten Things I Hate About You.

"Lauren and Abby are here to see you!"

I groan and close the lid of the DVD player. I was having a pig out session so there are chocolate bar wrappers and chip crumbs scattered all over my bed.

I probably look like a mess as well so I brush myself down and re-tie my hair in a messy bun. I stumble out of my room and find two of my best friends sitting on my couch like it's a completely normal thing to do. Ben is sitting on one of the recliners and I can tell he is feeling extremely uncomfortable being in the presence of Lauren. He is starring at the T.V. but his eyes wander over to Lauren every few seconds. I roll my eyes at him and walk over to the couch to sit beside Lauren.

"So what's up guys?" I question casually.

Lauren glances over at Abby and she nods vaguely.

"I think we should go into your room, we have to talk to you about some things." Abby whispers with a small smile.

Ben then stands up abruptly and turns the T.V. off.

"Please, allow me to leave. Trust me, you don't want to enter Abby's room right now. It's in no shape for company." he says with a wide grin.

I scowl at him and he begins to laugh at his own joke.

"Ok Ben, you can leave now." Lauren says with a slight grin.

Ben stops laughing at the sound of Lauren's voice and I have trouble holding back my laughter as Lauren gives me a death stare from beside me. I compose myself and Ben makes his way into his room, not without another look at Lauren though. When I hear Ben's door close I begin to laugh hysterically and Lauren slaps my arm, hard.

"Ow you little bitch." I mumble under my breath as I rub my now red arm.

"Pssh, looks who's talking." Lauren hisses back at me with narrowed eyes.

I bite the inside of my lip to stop myself from laughing again and Abby rolls her eyes at our stupidity.

"Please ladies, act your age, not your shoe size." she says with a wink.

I grin at her and then I remember, they are obviously here for a reason.

"So what do you need to talk about my lovelies?" I ask as I look from Lauren to Abby.

"It's about, Matt and Nathan." Abby says hestantly.

The smile falls from my face and I look away from both the girls, feeling a numerous amount of thoughts and feelings hit me all at once.

"I know you are having troubles with both of them at the moment bub, but you can't keep the truth buried inside forever, you have to let it out." Abby continues with a small, sympathetic smile pulling at her lips.

The truth? How am I supposed to figure out the truth when both boys mean the absolute world to me? Matt, my long time best friend, and Nathan, the boy I always wanted, finally got, then he broke my heart. The truth somehow doesn't seem to be reaching me at the moment.

"I know you are having mixed feelings at the moment, and I know things may seem complicated but let me just say this, If you really loved Nathan, why would you be having thoughts and feelings for Matt?" I look up at Abby and she nods slowly, as if trying to get through to me.
