"Well I know you don't like him anymore." She stated, "You like JJ." She shrugged.
"...now i think it might be awkward and I don't know what to do..."

I'm glad JJ and I are still on good terms. I mean, sure, I've had the biggest crush on JJ for like ever, and yeah, the kiss made me feel like I was floating and nothing else in the world mattered, and I guess, my feelings will never go away if I continue to fantasize about him in my dreams... was that too much?
"What would we do without you to control the drones?" JJ said to Pope, snapping me out of my thoughts "Well technically, it's not a drone. It's an ROV." Pope corrected "Shut up. Shut up." JJ cut off Pope, making me stifle a laugh "Hey, once we get footage of the wreck, we'll bring it to a lawyer in town and file a formal claim." John B explained
"That's such bullshit. Why do we have to do that?" JJ questioned "Well, there is a maritime salvage law. You can't just go to the ocean floor and scoop a bunch of stuff up." Pope stated "I know. I know. It's just lawyers aren't cheap, bro." JJ said as I stood next to him.
"As soon as they see the footage, they'll work for a comp." John B explained, yet again "How do you know all of that?" Kiara asked "'Cause my dad said it, like, a million times." he answered
"This tether is, like, really long." Pop stated, changing the subject "In the wrong weather, it could get pushed around." "Then we'll go at dead calm." John B shrugged right as thunder rumbled "A slack tide?" I questioned "So now we just have to wait around for the right weather... and today, is not that day." Pope sighed
Thunder kept rumbling and the dark clouds kept moving closer.

"You boys get these groceries over to Figure Eight." Heyward said, handing us the bags "Get straight back here when you're done. No fishin'. I promised delivery by this afternoon. Rich folks don't want to wait for you lazy sims of..." he stopped for a second before handing JJ the grocery bags "Oh, JJ, thank you... sons of bitches." he continued
"Does your dad realize I was standing there too?" I questioned Pope "Because I am his favorite and I am for sure not a guy." "Well, we don't know that." JJ whispered into my ear, I shot him a 'seriosuly?' look "Well then stay curious." I joke, and smirk at him. Pope looks between the two of us with his eyebrows furrowed.
"Doesn't even look like the storm hit here." Pop changed the subject and looked out the window towards 'Figure Eight' "That's because they got generators, bro. Get used to it." JJ stated, I looked out the window. It's true. All the 'kooks' get all the fancy stuff (including me) while the people on the cut have to clean up the damage of the storm by themselves.
"It's nice to be a kook." Pope snarled "Lucky bastards." JJ put the end piece of his sunglasses into his mouth.

"Wait Pope, I forgot a bag on the boat. Go ahead without me, I'll catch up." I hollered, Pope gave me a nod in return and started walking ahead.
"Why are you back here?" JJ asked "I forgot a bag... which is right here." I said, walking over to the bag of groceries I missed. "Did you leave Pope out there by himself?" JJ questioned "Yeah, but he's fine. Kooks might be assholes but, as long as Pope doesn't bother them he'll be fine." I shrugged, picking up the plastic bag "You really believe that?" JJ asked in disbelief "No," I sighed "but if I keep telling myself that, maybe it'll actually happen." "Right." JJ laughed "It's called 'manifesting.'" I twirled before making my way off the boat and over in the direction Pope went.
