After everyone is asleep, Riley wakes you up to tell you that Jaden will be there in 15 mins.

You: "I don't even know if I want to go anymore. I'm not feeling up to a party."

Riley: "Well the party got cancelled, but they're going to a bonfire on the beach. It'll be super lowkey I promise."

You groan as she pulls you out of bed. You touch up your makeup and brush your teeth. You double check that your dad is still passed out and then change your outfit and climb out of your bedroom window behind Riley.

She pushed the passenger seat forward to let you climb in the back and are surprised to see Jaden's roommate came with him to pick you girls up

She pushed the passenger seat forward to let you climb in the back and are surprised to see Jaden's roommate came with him to pick you girls up. He's already sitting there completely shirtless which makes sense if you're going to the beach, but still took you by surprise. Riley climbed in and kissed Jaden as he took off down the street so fast that you fell into his roommate's bare chest. He laughed and introduced himself:
"Hey, I'm Vinnie."

When you get to the beach, you are surprised when Riley disappears with Jaden within minutes. Well, no, you weren't that surprised but you were pissed.

Vinnie: *handing you a cup*
"I promise I don't bite."

After a few drinks, you and Vinnie are sitting by the beach bonfire with a few strangers and flirting when Riley and Jaden walk back up. She's all smiles so you know exactly what they disappeared to do.

Jaden: *looking around*
"The party is starting to die down. What do you guys want to do next?"

You: "I don't know how late I'm gonna be able to stay up, to be honest."

Vinnie smiled at you in a way that you knew damn well you'd never be able to resist. If all college boys were like Jaden and Vinnie you might jump ship to only dating older boys like Riley had.

Jaden: "I can't believe you live this close to a beach and never come, Riley?"

Riley: "I went a few times this summer with my girls, but honestly I usually sunburn easily. That's why I like coming at night."

Vinnie turns to you and asks:
"Have you ever gone night swimming?"

You: "Are you kidding? That sounds terrifying."

Vinnie grabbed your hand and you didn't protest when he led you towards the water, responding:
"C'mon. I won't leave your side. Nothing bad will happen."

Riley and Jaden had barely pulled away from their kiss enough to notice you and Vinnie disappear into the shadows of the shoreline. You felt the water wash across your toes and shivered.

Vinnie: "Are you cold? The water is surprisingly warm for the season if you get in."

You wade out into the water about waist deep when you felt something brush against your leg. You jumped against him squealing as he reached into the water and pulled out seaweed.

Vinnie: "Nothing dangerous. I promised didn't I?"

You were tight against his chest as your wet t-shirt clung to your every curve. He could see your black bra through it in the moonlight and traced his fingers across the strap before reaching your chin and pulling you in. The moment his lips touched yours, all of your worries faded away. You could feel the warm waves lap across your shoulders as they dipped below the surface and back into the night air.

He ran one hand through your wet hair and pulled you closer by the waist with his other hand. You could feel how into you he was through his thin swim trunks and couldn't help but reach your hand inside and grip him as his breath caught against your neck. His head tilted back as you coaxed him to whisper into the warm air:
"Oh God!"

You let your head fall against his shoulder as you giggled in satisfaction. You know a lot of people would be ashamed of getting so intimate with someone you barely knew, but honestly nothing made you feel more powerful than knowing that you could do whatever you wanted with your body. It was the only thing you felt in control of in your life.

You heard Riley call your name from the shoreline and took Vinnie's hand and led him back with a smile: "Hey, Amelie texted and said that your dad woke up

You heard Riley call your name from the shoreline and took Vinnie's hand and led him back with a smile:
"Hey, Amelie texted and said that your dad woke up. She lied and said you were in the shower, but I don't know how long that will last so we better go."

Jaden: "C'mon, babe. Let's get you girls home."

The ride home was a completely different vibe than the drive to the beach. Vinnie acted completely oblivious to the fact that your best friends were in the front seat and had pulled you into his lap while kissing you. Not that Riley would have noticed. Her head disappeared out of sight 10 minutes before and Jaden was doing good to focus on the road, much less anything happening in the backseat. You made out the entire drive home and when you pulled up back at the house, Jaden shifted as Riley sat up wiping her mouth with a smile.

Both piled out of the car and as you walked up to my window, you texted Amelie to make sure the coast was clear. You turned back to see Riley run around to the driver's window and kiss Jaden goodbye. After getting the all clear, Amelie opened the window and helped us both climb back in.

You stayed up for a while sharing the boy drama from the night. Avani told a story about the last time her and Anthony hooked up. She'd convinced him to put on her bra and even had taken a picture in her my-eyes-only. We all collapsed in laughter. A lot of people didn't understand our friendships. They saw us as the popular girls who dated the hottest boys and were just bitchy enough to never mess with. It made it hard to make friends, so it'd always just been the 4 of us.
