27- Back to Normal

You know you won't be ready to forgive Riley for a long time, maybe never, but you're done being angry about it. You liked Bryce... a lot, but something was always missing with him, and if anything Riley had freed you.

Just then, your phone rang and you sighed before answering the facetime, knowing you couldn't put it off any longer. Soon Avani's voice rang out:
"Hey girlie! I know you needed a little space, but I really miss you. Will you come over tonight?"

You: "I don't know... is Riley there?"

Avani: "No. She moved out apparently. She just left here and took her stuff back to Jaden's."

You didn't mention having just left seeing her but Riley hadn't mentioned talking to her parents either.

You: "Wow. And your parents agreed?"

Avani: "Well they didn't have a choice. She's already 18 even though she hasn't graduated yet."

You: "Wow... is Kio okay?"

Avani: "He seems to be fine. He's the one who gave me the advice to reach out to you and not let Riley's screw up come between us."

You make plans and after you hang up, you pack a bag and head over. Before you arrived, Avani must have called Amelie because she was pulling up too.

Amelie: *squealing*
"Bestie!!! I missed you so much!!"

You: "I know. I just needed a little time."

Amelie hugged you in a way that let you know she completely understood. That was the awesome thing about her... she always understood you.

After you girls have enjoyed a night of snacking and watching movies, Amelie and Avani both have fallen asleep. You played on your phone for a bit and then decided to go take the trash downstairs. On the way back upstairs, you wander past Kio's door. You take a deep breath and open the door.

He was playing his Xbox as a look of shock spread across his face. You sat down on his bed and started nervously playing with your hands. He pulled his headset off and turned off his system mid-game and spun his chair around to face you.

You: "I didn't mean to ruin your game- Your sister fell asleep and I wasn't tired- And- I don't know what I was doing. I'm sorry- I can go..."

Kio: *looking at you with his head tilted in complete confusion*
"I just- I don't understand. Based on the last 2 weeks, I didn't even think you wanted to be friends?"

You can't take it anymore and move to his chair and climb into his lap, straddling him as you push your lips against him. It took exactly 2 seconds for reality to set in and Kio dropped his controller on the floor and lifted you up with your legs still wrapped around his waist. There was no hesitation and you didn't even stop to lock the door. He laid you on his bed and you each pulled your shirts off before he climbed above you.

The kiss deepened as you moved below him in a way that drove him insane. You could feel him press against you through his jeans so you reached down and started to unbutton them. Your lips track down his neck and gently nibble at his skin as you push your hand inside of his jeans causing him to groan deep into your ear. You slid out of your pajama shorts and he paused for a moment. You let your lips move down his neck and gently bite his earlobe before whispering in his ear:
"You win. Just whatever you want from me. It's yours."

Kio: *pausing to look you in the eyes*
"Haven't you figured it out yet? What I want is YOU..."

You: *whispering breathless and desperate to taste his lips against yours again*
"I'm yours."

That's all he needed to hear and he fulfilled the desire burning inside of you. Something about feeling him while his sister slept in the next room made it so exciting that you exploded with a sensation almost immediately and then again a few moments later.

It took nearly an hour for him to have had his fill of you and by then your knees were weak and your body covered in goosebumps. He laid against you tracing the curves of your back and let out a laugh. You look at him with confusion, so he answers:
"Everyone always says, in the beginning, it's never any good but I can't imagine it getting any more enjoyable than the 2 times I've done it."

You: "No, tonight is pretty much the best thing I've ever felt in my life."

Kio: "If I lock the door can you sleep in here?"

You: *burying your face against his neck*
"God I would give anything to do that, but I don't want to risk your family waking up before we do. What if I go back in there but we text until we fall asleep?"

Kio: "Are we ever going to tell them?"

You: "I'm just not ready, ok?"

Kio kissed you and it heated back up until he was tossing your phone behind his head to drive into you one more time. Half an hour later, you were back in Avani's room lying on an air mattress and staring at your phone. You couldn't believe how quickly you were falling for KIo. Truth be told, you'd loved him a very long time you were just now willing to accept it. Just before you felt yourself fall asleep you sent one final text...
