After the runners came back from the maze, you went back to the gardens with Newt. Pulling carrots, picking apples, and doing way more things for you tired so you asked Newt if he could take off just for a bit, "sure, no problem," he said with a smile. You walked to the kitchen to get a cup of water and see fry. "hey fry!" You said as you sat down and drank some water. "hey y/n," he said as he skimmed some potatoes. "are you dating Newt?" He blurted out. "ummm no, we're just friends, like i am with Minho, Thomas, you, and nearly everyone!" You answered. "Oh ok, cause people were starting to talk!" He said as he faced the potatoes. You looked at the ground questioning. You waved bye to Fry and started to walk back to the gardens. You smiled as you saw Newt working hard. "WATCH OU-" Someone exclaimed as you were slammed on the ground. It was Ben.

He started to choke you and repeated, "WICKED IS GOOD WICKED IS GOOD," You tried to push him off but he was too strong. People came rushing and Newt hit him with a shovel. You took a breath and stood up. You backed away from Ben as the boys were carrying him to the Medjack. Newt and Thomas running to your side. You blacked out. The last thing you heard was Newt saying, "CALL ALBY!"

You woke up and sat up on the cot, Jeff was by your side and said, "oh! Good you're awake," he said with a smile. "h-how long was i out?" you asked blinking your eyes to get a better look. "About 3-4 days," Jeff answered as he got up and got a cold towel. He put it on your forehead as you laid back onto the bed. "How abou-" You were about to ask about your job, but Jeff answered, "Don't worry, Alby said it was okay and Thomas helped out Newt so they could cover your shift," He said with a chuckle. "oh...ugh now i feel bad," you said as you covered your face with your hands. Your voice was quite groggy and it kind of hurt to speak. "You're awake!" Newt said as him, Thomas, Minho, and Chuck entered the Medjack. "what happened?" You asked as they came by your side. "Ben attacked you, he got bit by a griever," Thomas explained. Your eyes widened because of the fact, Ben was one of your closest friends. "But he's getting banished today so he won't be hurting you anymore," Minho added. Your eyes got more wider and started to panic. Newt punched Minho in the arm, "the only thing you need to worry about is getting better," Newt said with his comforting voice.

You tried not to blush, but you locked eyes with Thomas. He stared at you and then at Newt and smirked as he laughed under his breathe. You smiled awkwardly at Newt and then gave a 'don't you dare' look at Thomas. Since breakfast already passed, once you rested more and after the boys had their lunch break, you joined them. You walked in, keeping your eyes on the ground. I guess you could admit that you had a small, itty bitty crush on Newt, but you didn't dare to tell anyone. They would make fun of you and then tell Newt hundred percent.

You grabbed a bowl of oatmeal from fry as Chuck handed you a spoon. You took a seat next to Newt and Chuck and started to eat. You looked up at everyone at the table and saw them staring at you. "What?" You asked with your hand over your mouth. "ummmm...i-" Thomas muttered as he tried to look away from you. Winston covered Chuck and his eyes. You had a puzzled face and then looked at where they were staring at. You looked down and saw your unbuttoned flannel shirt. You turned bright red and covered your chest. Luckily you had a sports bra on, but it still was very 'revealing.' You buttoned your shirt as quick as possible and looked down at the ground. You faced the boys and stuttered, "i-i um so..." "So this lunch is really good today!" Newt said trying to change the conversation and attempting to distract them.

'did i really just forget to button my shirt in front of tens of boys?!' you said in your head as you still looked at your lap, embarrassed. You started to eat your oatmeal again, "So...y/n we should go to the gardens," Newt said anxiously looking at the wall respectfully. "um yeah!" You said as without wasting a second, put the empty bowl on the counter and rushed out the door. "Did she do that on purpose?" Minho questioned as he chuckled. "Shut up!" Newt said as he punched him in the arm.

You ran to the gardens and sat on the grass. 'OH GOD! OH GOD!' You said in your head as you collapsed onto the grass. You shook your head over and over as you covered your face in embarrassment, thinking about the scene again. "Don't worry, I won't bring it up again," Newt said as he walked toward your starfish positioned body. You say right up and said, "oh? thanks...but i bet Minho won't ever forget about it!" Crashing back onto the grass. "I'll make them forget about it," Newt said as he sat next to you holding out a basket in one hand. You jumped right up and grabbed the basket and walked to the crops. "Hey, we all make mistakes, even embarrassing ones," Newt said attempting to cheer you up. You looked the other way and started to pick the tomatoes.

"This one time, Minho had one too many of Gally's drinks and he started to dance on the tables and climb trees!" Newt exclaimed as he pretended to dance drunkly. You can't hold in a giggle and laughed. "FOR REAL?!" You asked as you started to roll on the ground. "You better get back to work though," Newt said as he pointed to Alby as Alby was walking around. You got up and started to pick the tomatoes again. "Thanks Newt," You said as you smiled and looked at his face, kind of covered in dirt.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom and clean some of this dirt off," You said as you brought out your two dirty hands. Newt nodded and turned back to the crops. You walked to the bathrooms and took your messy hands to the sink. You washed off and took your towel to dry your hands. "I what you did during lunch today," a familiar voice said as you jumped. You turned around to see..

I WAS ON MY THANKSGIVING BREAK SO I HAD A LOT OF FREE TIME BUT NOW I MIGHT NOT BE AS FREE. DONT WORRY I USUALLY FINISH MOST OF MY HOMEWORK AND STUFF QUICKLY SO ILL STILL BE UPDATED MAYBE EVERYDAY?
