You whipped your head around as a cold hand touched your shoulder. It was Marcus. "I missed you," Marcus said smirking. "OH MY GOD! You scared the living shuck out of me!" You said catching your breath. "I thought you were banished or gone?!" You exclaimed as you stepped back away from him. "Alby just told me not to touch you, but he never said i couldn't talk to you," he said with a smirk as he approached you closer and closer.

You tried not to look him in his eyes and were backed up on a wall. His face met yours as he smiled at your whimper. You ducked under his arm and tried to walk away from the room. He grabbed your wrist and turned you around. "what do you want from me?!" You said as you rolled your eyes. "What do you mean? You're the only girl here, and I want you." Marcus said staring you down with that same smug smirk. He leaned in to kiss you, while you couldn't move. You were a strong person, but he was stronger, of course cause he was a builder. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" Thomas said as he entered with Chuck and Frypan.

Thomas threw a punch at Marcus and started to beat him onto the ground. You stared into the ceiling for a second and snapped back to reality. You ran over to Thomas and tried to get him off of Marcus, as Chuck and Frypan were trying to do. "Are you okay?" Frypan asked facing you. "Y-yeah i'm okay," you said as you held your forehead. Frypan and Chuck were shouting to get Thomas off of Marcus. Marcus was covered in blood and bruises that you could barely see him breathing. Wait is he even breathing?! But no matter what you had to get out of there. You rushed out to the main area and saw Newt. You started running, but your legs made you stop. You dropped to the ground and held your lower stomach. You winced in pain as Newt, Alby, Winston, and three other boys came to your side. "GO HELP MARCUS IN THE BATHROOM!!" You shouted as you still held your stomach area. Alby shook his head with some boys and him, Winston, Gally, and two more boys rushed to the bathrooms.

"What's bothering you? What happened?" Newt said as he saw you red as a tomato and you wincing in pain near your stomach. "i-i don't know , but um Thomas h-he and Marcus w-were punching a-and then he just-" Newt cut you off and asked, "Are you hurt? Injured?!" "no, i'm okay, but my stomach kinda hurts..." Newt helped you up, "Come on let's get you to the Medjack hut."

"I heard there's a fight?!" Clint exclaimed as he was gossiping to Jeff. "Oh?! Are you alright?!" Jeff said as they came to you. You were leaning on Newt and he was pulling you onto a bed. "She said her stomach hurts..." Newt said as he placed you on a bed. Clint went to the cabinets to look for the pain-killers and Jeff got a damp towel for your forehead. "ugh...i think it's just my period," you said sitting up and then slumping back down. "what? period?" The boys asked to one another. Before you could answer, Minho and Gally were carrying in a boy who was all bloodied up and unconscious. You sat up and looked over to see. IT WAS MARCUS?!

"Oh my god! What did you do?!" You whipped your head to Thomas who was near the doorway and back to Marcus. "What? He deserved it!" Thomas said putting his hands up in his defense. You were about to help Marcus but you winced in pain. Everyone went to help you. "You should lay back down," Clint said as he gave you a painkiller. You laid back down and felt the refreshing, cool towel on your forehead. "So back to you...what's a period?" Jeff asked with a confused face. Everyone gathered to hear your answer. "So...it's only happens to girls and ummm...basically girls bleed down there. In our lady parts and have cravings and cramps." You said gaining confidence. "Doesn't it hurt when you bleed?" Chuck asked as he popped his head out from the crowd. You giggled, "it only hurts cause of the cramps, but it only happens from time to time." All the boys nodded and whispered amongst each other. You just shook your head and plopped onto the pillow.

"Hello? Still dying here!" Marcus said as he tried to grab everyone's  attention. "You can die tomorrow, right now we're learning new things," Minho sassed as he went back to talking to Newt and Frypan. He fell back onto the cot and covered his bruised face with his hands. You chuckled under your breath so no one could hear, but everyone was too distracted in talking about a period and 'lady parts.' I shouldn't have told them, you said in your head as you closed your eyes.

time skip: about dinner time

You yawn and stand up, you must've taken a nap you thought. You grabbed your sweatshirt off the edge of the bed and wore it. You brushed off the dust off your sweatshirt and walked outside. It was already nighttime, so there were torches and campfires. You saw a bright light near the kitchen and decided to get a bite to eat. As you entered, everyone was there.

You walked to fry, You're awake!" he said as he handed you a plate of pasta. "I missed an entire day of jobs!!" You whined as you took your usual seat at the table. "You seemed so tense so we let you sleep in...before you rage, it was Albys idea," Winston said backing up. "oh ok," you said smiling at your dinner. "So where's Thomas?" You asked, "and marcus..." you mumbled. "Well since Thomas hurt another glader, he's in the slammer and Marcus h-he..." Newt's voice trailed off as he looked away from you. "Marcus what?" You asked taking a bite from your pasta. "he was banished." Alby said as he took an unusually spot at your table today. You looked shocked, but also felt like his death is your fault. Newt quickly show your different demeanor. "He deserved it, y/n, so don't be hard on yourself," Newt said with a little pat on your back.

"EVERYONE I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT!" Alby said standing in front of everyone. The chatter stopped and everyone faced Alby. "I have a new rule...our original ones are...do your part, don't hurt another glader..." He discussed as he glared at Newt. "and our new rule is don't touch the girl." He said sternly facing you. You looked away embarrassed.

You could see a tear form in the coroner of your eye, but you looked away and wiped it away. You still felt bad about Marcus. "Don't cry..." Chuck said as he peeped a small smile. You turned your head and sniffled, you knew you couldn't cry in front of Chuck. "hey I'm only crying because frypan put too many onions in this dip," You said as you pointed to the onion dip in the center. The entire table laughed, of course without Thomas. "Ummm, i'm gonna go give Thomas a bowl of pasta, i'll be right back," you said as you stood up and took a bowl. All the boys nodded and went back to their conversations. You reached the slammer and sat in front of Thomas' cell. "Well, do you think pasta can thank you for protecting me?" You asked playfully as you got his attention. "oh hey!" Thomas said as he quickly got off of his small stool and near the door. "You're like my older brother," you said as you handed him the bowl. You didn't think of Thomas as a boyfriend type, but more of an overprotective brother. Which was nice, because he thought of you as a little sister too. "this is good," Thomas said digging into the pasta. You giggled, "you know, i'll be back...give me a second," you got up and started running back to homestead. You heard Thomas shout after you back you just smirked and kept running. You were out of breath, "hey Alby, can i ask you something?" "Yeah of course," Alby said as he stood up from the table. "do you think Thomas could join us for the bonfire tomorrow for the new greenie coming tomorrow?" You asked. Alby was about to say no, but you gave him puppy dog eyes and batted them. Minho winked at Alby and signaled to just give it to her. Alby gave in and sighed, "fine, but he's still sleeping to the slammer, just for the bonfire," Alby said raising his eyebrows. "ok ok," you said rolling your eyes and running back to the slammer.

"There you are!" Thomas said as he finished his pasta. "good news...you can join us for the bonfire tomorrow!" You squealed and jumped around. "It seems like you're more excited than me!" He said as he looked at you. "but how did you convince Alby? He's a ruthless person!" Thomas said surprised. "i have my ways," you said with a smirk. "NO. You did no-" You stopped him right away. "ewww no, I meant i just did my puppy dog eyes," you said disgusted. You two laughed for a moment, but it was time for bed. "I gotta get to bed," you said motioning to your room. "yeah yeah, see you tomorrow," Thomas said as he backed away from the door. You waved bye and skipped to your room.

You've been here only for a month, but it feels like everyone here has known you since you were born. Everyone was like family. (except Marcus) You were up all night thinking about the new greenie and how the boys would finally have a newbie to pick on now. You held your stomach again because of your stupid, period.
