It's been a month since Fiona and I had last saw Ron and Hermione. They were great people. Also, very supportive and understanding after I told them about me. They were horrified by the people that had turned against me for no reason at all, especially Hermione. Ron seemed a bit slow at first, but I could tell that he was trying to understand my situation at hand. He also seems like a person who could get misunderstood as the not so smart one. If you're comparing him to Hermione that is. Ron is smart though. He actually understood where I was coming from and tried to give me the best advice that he could. Apparently his older brother, whose name is George, went through something similar to me, minus the part where everyone believed that he was in the wrong and her getting pregnant.

Ron told me, "George had a girlfriend who tried to do the same thing that this girl Kathy did to you Harry. She tried to tell everyone that he had raped her and make everyone turn against him. I was almost one of those people, but my other brother, his twin Fred, explained to me that George was with him and their friend Lee that night where supposedly she got smashed by my older brother. Plus, once I thought about it more George wasn't one to actually go and do that to people. He's not one to actually go hook up with someone at all. Fred is more of the one to hook up with someone, but obviously with consent. The girl ended up getting suspended for her false lies and she actually moved schools after that incident. She probably learned her lesson, but I won't be too sure about that."

That actually made me happy. Knowing that Ron was comfortable to tell me that story. It was probably just to make me feel better and to let me know that I'm not alone in these types of situations, but still. Sure, it was technically wasn't his story to share, but it was in the heat of the moment and I don't think I'll ever meet his brother that went through something similar to me.

Right now I was sitting on the couch in my living room, it was Saturday, so no school, and the news was on. I wasn't much for the news, but before I changed the channel I heard something that I didn't expect to hear. Especially since it was something that seemed all too impossible. I turned up the volume and listened to what the reporter had to say.

"Something incredible, but also horrifying had just happened!" This lady seemed very enthusiastic about her job, but whatever it was it had to be very important. "The human race had never experienced this type of thing in our life times. Magic." Hold the phone. Magic? Magic wasn't real, so what is this lady talking about? "Apparently it's real. These people thought that they could hide this from us forever? They thought wrong. There has been many videos online of kids and their parents running into a wall between platforms nine and ten and they just disappeared? What is all that about? That's when we decided to investigate as soon as possible. Our field reporters took the time to risk getting a head injury and ran in between the platforms and they surprisingly were able to make it through. This is what they had seen once they made it to the other side." What they showed was another platform with a bunch of people on it. It seemed like the parents were sending their kids off to somewhere, but where are they to go? Maybe some happy place? I think I would love that place very much, whatever it was.

The video stopped playing and went back to the news reporter that was previously talking. "This is scary to think about. Knowing that magic exists and that it lives among us? We were able to capture a few of these magical people and they told us so much information. How much? And how? That's for us to know and for you to find out. All we need to tell you is that there's a school for these horrible humans. Should we even call them humans though? I don't think so. They're training these kids to live up to their power and then what? They will most likely end up taking over our race! We must stop this at once and destroy them all! We ask all adults and teenagers of the ages of 15-18 to help us restore our way of life! Get rid of these creatures that will one day take over and destroy us all!"

"Mom! Dad!" I called out to my parents in worry. This seemed scary. Knowing that there was people with magic living with us? But if they were to cause harm then would they have already done so? This is really confusing me and I don't know what to do.

"Harry?" Came my mom's worried voice. I turn to see her and my dad looking at me a worried look placed on their faces. "Is everything ok?"

I didn't know how to answer that. I'm not sure if everything was going to be ok or not. Before I could say anything I heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it," my dad told my mom and I. He opened the door to see a worried looking Fiona and two adults, who I recognized as Hermione's parents.

"What's going on?" I asked Fiona.

"It's Hermione and Ron," she told us.

I looked at them with a worried look and my dad gestured for them to come in and sit down. Hermione's parents looked like they were going to pass out, so whatever happened to Hermione and Ron, most likely Hermione though because she was their daughter, couldn't be good.

"What's wrong Mrs. and Mr. Granger?" I asked. "What happened to Hermione?" I was very nervous about their response, but I needed to know what happened to my new found friend.

"You saw the news right?" Mrs. Granger asked us.

"Yes," I responded. "Something about magic people and how apparently we have to get rid of them because they are a danger to the human race." Honestly these people were being ridiculous about people with magic trying to destroy us all.

"Yes and Hermione and Ron are one of those few people with magic." The room went silent. So deadly silent that you could hear a pin drop.

"What?" I whispered in disbelief.

"Yes. Hermione was born of magic. It was a complete mystery to us until she received her letter to Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. That's where she met Ron, who's family is full of wizards and witches. We're so worried about the two and the rest of their friends at Hogwarts. So, we were actually wondering if the both of you could go with the others to go and help our daughter and her friends." They seemed so desperate and they really wanted their daughter to be ok.

"They'll go," I heard my mom say.

I spin my head around so fast that I thought I was going to break it. "Are you kidding?"

"I'm not kidding Harry," she told me. "She is your friend and I believe that you and Fiona should go and try and help them out."

"You know your mom is right Harry," I heard Fiona say. I look towards her and she seemed like she wanted to cry. "I don't want to loose these friends that we have just made Harry. I know we only known them for a day, but the letters that they had sent us through Hermione's parents just shows how much of a true friend she is."

I sat there silent for a moment. I'd be betraying the people that I have grown up with. But, they betrayed me first. They don't care what happens to me. So if I go try and help Hermione and Ron then there's a strong chance that I could die. I'd be risking my life for them and many other people that I don't have a clue about. People that I've never met in my life. "Ok. I'll do it." I was for sure about this. I'm going to be going to Hogwarts and there's nothing that nobody can do to get in my way of that.
