The nurses planned another activity. Nature walk. Another nurse decided to join us today too. Right now, we are lined up at the front door, waiting for it to be opened. I look at the new nurse dress in red standing beside Sister Rochelle. "Who is that?" I ask Marissa, pointing at the nurse. "Oh. That's Sister Annabelle. She's a high ranking Mortician at the asylum. She doesn't leave the infirmary much because she's busy with paperwork every day."

"Paperwork?"

"Yeah, duh! You know, the paperwork in which they have to mark the patients who died last night as dead and call their families?"

"How do you know that?"

"Because I walked in on her doing it once when I got attacked by a cannibal."

"Oh."

"Guys, I'm so fucking excited to be going outside!" Jaxton says. He's practically jumping with joy. It's cute. "Calm down, you know we're just going to go stand near the blimp and look at the waterfall and explore the caves." Marissa says. "So? We haven't done it in weeks! I miss it!"

"Is it fun?" I ask. "Yes! The cave is very pretty and the blimp is huge!"

"Why do they have a blimp?"

"Not sure. Guess we'll find out soon enough!"

I look over at the Mortician. She's wearing a red, strapless dress with black tights and red heels. She also has a white lab coat on. I always wonder why these nurses dress so nice if they have to deal with disgusting creatures like the cannibals. Especially the Mortician. She has to deal with dead bodies. The Mortician, who is named Sister Annabelle, pulls out her megaphone and puts it to her mouth. "We will now be going outside. Please stay with the group and follow the six nurses and I. Do not go in front of us. Stay behind us."

The nurses open the iron doors and exit the sanatorium. All of us start to follow them outside. It's a beautiful sunny day and the air smells clean. We follow the nurses down the steps of the large porch, then down another pair of steps. They walk towards the gigantic blimp that is just sitting on a huge platform. The group of nurses stop. Brother Andrew pulls out his megaphone and says, "Ah! This is our holy blimp. Over the past few months, it has gotten closer. This blimp will take us to a special place! A new place! Somewhere in Japan! We are yet to go there, so we shall wait until our boss tells us to board! Follow me to our next stop."

They then start to walk over to a giant cave located a few feet away from the sanatorium. "This is the giant cave! Over there is a beautiful small waterfall. Try to be careful when following us, it is slippery!"

I watch my step as we enter deeper into the cave. Brother Andrew shows us around the cave a little while longer. He then stops. "Ah! It is nearly time for us to eat dinner! Please head back to the sanatorium!"

A lot of people groan in protest, but comply. We all leave the cave and make our way back to the sanatorium. It was nice in that cave. Kind of dark, but nice. Jaxton seemed to be really excited going outside. It sucks that the walk was so short, but I guess I understand. Gotta stay on schedule, right? We walk up the porch steps and then the other porch steps. As we enter, Jaxton jumps with joy. "That was fun! I wanna do it again tomorrow!"

"I don't know about tomorrow, dear. We'll see." Sister Rochelle says. Jaxton looks over at me. "Did you have fun?" He asks. "Yeah, I guess. It was kinda short though."

"Yeah, well. It is close to dinner time. Makes sense that they would shut it down early!"

"Yeah."

Jaxton grabs my hand. "I have so much energy right now. Do you want to dance with me?"

"Dance? What? Why?"

"Dancing is fun. We barely ever get to dance here."

"There's people around-"

"Then we'll go to the library!"

"Why do you suddenly want to dance out of nowhere? You're literally so random."

"Come on, dance with me! It'll be fun! It'll help me with my pent up energy."

Marissa walks up to us and says, "There's other ways you can use that energy, Jaxton." She smirks at him. "Bruh, stop being weird. You're killing my vibe!"

Marissa starts laughing. "You make those jokes at me all the time whenever a girl and I even get remotely close together!"

"That's because I like embarrassing you."

"Same goes for you."

These two are like siblings, I swear. They're always messing with each other. "Come on, Johnson. If you don't want others to see, we can go to the library." Jaxton says. He starts to take me towards the stairs. "Have fun, you two!" Marissa shouts.

"We're not going to do anything weird! Don't even start making another joke!" Jaxton shouts back. We walk up the steps and walk towards the other pair of steps. "Sorry about her. She's weird."

"Yeah, so are you."

"I am not!"

I laugh a little. Maybe dancing with him won't be so bad? If it makes him happy, I'll do it.
