"Ah! Looks like we have time for an activity! How about some lovely storytelling? If you wish to tell us a story, please say 'Me!' and we will bring you up here!" The nurse that has a bun says.

Suddenly, everyone just perks up and starts shouting "me!" Sister Amelia walks off the stage and scans the aisle. She looks around. "Me!" Jaxton shouts. "You then! Come up, Jaxton!" Sister Amelia says, pointing at Jaxton. He gets up out of his seat and follows her up to the stage. The other nurses begin to stand at the wall to give up some space. "Alright, so. Once upon a time I was just minding my own business at the cafeteria, and then a new person waltzes in here and sits at my table."

Gee, I wonder who that could be.

"He was so clueless but also curious. I showed him the ropes and just how holy this sanatorium is!"

The nurses behind him smiled. "Oh my, how kind of you!" one of them says. "It was kinda cute how he would just continue to ask me stupid questions. Oh my, such a clueless man! Soon, he will learn new things about our holy sanatorium and how wonderful it really is!" He stared at me with a wide smile. "Wow, Jaxton. Sounds like you have an eye out for that man!" A patient says. "Oh! I do! Hopefully he understands..."

What does that mean? What does he hope I understand? "Alright, I'm done." Jaxton walks off the stage and heads back to his seat. "Ah! Such a holy story! Anyone else?"

"Jaxton, why do you keep being so suspicious? You're hiding something from me. I can tell." I say, glaring right at him. "I'm not hiding anything from you. You asked what blurs were. I answered. I even answered you when you were about to ask what that nurse did."

He's right, but... "But what about you saying that you hope I understand? What do you want me to understand?"

He's quiet for a moment. "Johnson. You'll soon see. I can't say it. I don't want the nurses to hear. They will tell me I'm sick again."

"Sick? But you seem perfectly fine to me."

"Most of us aren't, but we all have the same illness."

"And what illness is that?"

"Ah! Would you all look at the time? It's time for dinner, darlings! Please head to the cafeteria and remain seated in uniform!" Brother Andrew says into his megaphone. Everyone starts to stand up and exit the lecture hall. "Come, Johnson. Soon, after dinner, you will see. Stick by my side. Me and Marissa are going to run out of the cafeteria as soon as we eat, and you're coming with." Jaxton says as he grabs my arm and drags me out of the lecture hall.

He's kind of scaring me...
