I stand awkwardly as Jaxton helps me get into position. "Okay, and then you hold my hand like this." He grabs my hand and lifts it up a bit. "I don't know how to dance." I blurt out. "That's okay! I'll teach you! Just follow my lead." Jaxton moves his leg back and steps backwards, I step forward. He steps sideways and I follow him. "Why does this remind me of Beauty and the Beast?" I ask. "Am I the beast because I'm so buff and tall?" Jaxton laughs. "Does that make me the beauty then?" I ask.

"Yes, you're very beautiful."

My face turns a little red. "Thanks." I say awkwardly. "You don't take compliments very well, do you?" Jaxton asks. "No, not really. It's embarrassing for me. I guess I'm not used to it."

"Oh. Then I'll make you get used to it!" Jaxton then twirls me and dips me. I grab onto his shirt tightly. "Whoa! Don't drop me!"

"I won't. Trust me, Jonhson." He lifts me back up. "See? I wouldn't drop you!" He starts laughing. I smile at him as he laughs. "Jaxton."

"Yes?"

I lean forward, putting my face closer to his. My heart starts beating fast. It feels like it's going to jump out of my chest, but I go for it anyways. I press my lips onto his and shut my eyes. I feel him kiss me back. I feel his hand reach up to the back of my head. This feels nice. He kisses me so gently. I feel loved. I pull away and smile. "Whoa, that was so unexpected..." He says.

"I thought you might like surprises."

"I do. Especially if it's surprises like these."

I look at the window in front of me. "Ah, we should probably head downstairs. It's starting to get dark."

"One more kiss?"

I laugh. "Of course." I then kiss him again. "Another?" He asks. "Last one, then we gotta leave." I kiss him one last time. "One more?"

"Nope. Gotta leave, come on." We let go of each other and open the library door. "I don't wanna be late for dinner. That's literally the worst."

"True."
