SHE. LOOKED. AT. ME.
SHE WINKED AT ME.
That doll really gave me a look! And it wasn't a mean one!
But why? Does she know who I am? You know, the guy everyone hates now? She must be a recent doll. That doesn't matter. That face, that body...that mind. Fierce, headstrong and, honestly kinda cute.
But, OBVIOUSLY not in that way! Nothing else than that...she's just kinda pretty.
I should probably head home now.
I start heading home, but, I eventually stop. I can't help but think about her.
It's like she's put a spell on me. I think once more of what happened, but just reassure myself that 'it's just an act'.
She'd never really mean that...I didn't even get her name.
"Nice performance, eh?"
I look behind me to see none other than Nolan."Nolan? How'd you get off the stage so fast?" I ask."I'm faster than I look Louis." He replied smirking."That chick was into you, huh?""I-I don't know, she literally just winked at me. I honestly don't know why I'm making a big deal out of it, it was just all part of the act." I sigh."I don't know, that wink kinda gave it away. She totally likes you, Lou!" Nolans eyes look determined."I mean...maybe." I ponder. "But, how could anybody like me? I'm an outcast! I'm the doll everyone hates now.""Ah, here's the thing," Nolan pointed his finger upward. "She's a new doll. She doesn't know what happened a year ago. This is your chance to start fresh!What do ya say?"I think for a second."Alright, let's do this. It's kinda surprising that your treating me like this." I say, partially embarrassed.He put a hand on my shoulder."Hey, we all deserve a second chance."I smiled. "Thanks man.""No prob, Lou. Now, get a good rest."Nolan said."Alright. Night!" I said whilst waving.
