***Alice's POV ***
Right as I see the light of day, signaling I was walking up. I am pulled back into darkness and a memory flashes before my eyes, one I never thought I would see again.
***Peter's POV***
I watch Alice for the next hour. Every now and then her body twitches. I think she's going to wake up but she doesn't.
After awhile I get tired of watching her and walked back to camp. The boys are all gone on patrol. I walk into my tent and sit at my desk.
Papers litter it's surface. The strong scent of ink hits my nose. I look closely at all the papers. Most are old battle plans, but one catches my eye. I pick up the sheet of parchment. My eyes go wide, I haven't looked at this paper in years. To be honest I don't even know what it means.
I continue to look around for something. I can't place what it is, but something seems to be missing from my life. The boys and I know somethings wrong, but none of is can place the strange feeling.
To this day, I haven't been able to figure out what was missing. I think it was one of the best boys who went missing, but I don't know. The question always sends my mind into a nervous rage.
I set the paper down and look at the wall of the tent.
A couple of whoops and hollers tells me the boys are back. I walk out of the tent to greet them.
"Boys sharpen your weapons, we are going to have some fun tonight!" I smirk. The boys cheer and run to grab their weapons. I smile then sit on the log closest to me. Soon Felix joins me. We stay silent for a bit before he breaks the silence.
"No sign of Hook yet." He says.
"Good. We don't need him interfering with our plans. The last thing we need him to know, is that Alice has magic." I sigh.
Alice staggers into camp a look of pure terror is written on her face. She walks up to me.
"Tonight honey we're going to play a game!" I smirk. She looks at me, horror written all over her face.
"W-what kind of game?" She stammers.
"Now where's the fun in that?" I ask. I hear her whimper and walk into my tent. "Felix, gather the boys, let's play."
He nods an evil smirk spreading across his face. His black hood disappears into the surrounding jungle. I watch where he once was then walk into my tent.
"Are you okay?" I ask.
"Honestly no. But the pain has stopped. I'm not sure I could have survived another second of it." She breathes.
"Well are you ready for some fun tonight?"
"No."
"Ah come on. It'll be fun! Now go eat, you have a big night ahead of you." I say pushing her out of the tent.
***Alice's POV***
Peter pushes me out of the tent, I stumble but regain my footing. I look back at the tent and narrow my eyes. He is such a jerk. I walk over to the table containing plates and food, and fill up.
I sit alone on a log and silently eat my food. Boys begin to enter the camp and grab their own food. Soon, camp is filled to the brim with boys. The amount of BO is making my stomach churn.
Why did I come here in the first place? Why did I ever want to come to a place full of repulsive boys? Oh yeah it was to get away from my parents. My parents. I feel a small seed of guilt place itself in my stomach. I wonder how they are? Sure they were mean, but how could I run away from them? I wonder what they did when they found me gone. What did Sam think? Sam! The seed starts to grow twisting my stomach in knots. How is he? Oh gosh, how could I abandon my best friend?
"Earth to Alice?" I hear Felix say, breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah? Sorry, got trapped in my thoughts." I blush. How embarrassing is this?
"Get ready, Pan's game is about to begin." He says offering his hand. I grab it and he helps me up. I walk into Pan's tent and grab my most durable clothes.
I walk out into the cool night prepared for whatever lies ahead. Pan watches his boys as they either dance around a the fire or sharpen their weapons. When his gaze lands on me he smirks and steps down from his little platform.
"Our guest of honor is here at last! Gather around boys. Tonight's game, see who can capture her. No rules, just don't kill her." Peter smiles an evil smile. Crap, I'm dead. Ah crap, I'm so freaking dead.
"Ready Alice?" I nod uncertainly "Ready boys, let's play." Peter's voice rings into the night. I start to run as fast as my feet will carry me.
Okay, I have a few minutes before the boys come. I see a large bushy tree ahead of me and I start to climb it.
There's no freaking rules! The thought hits me like a punch in the stomach. Those boys are practically going to kill me. I start to breath heavily. Crap crap crap crap.
"This is going to be fun." Someone whispers below me.
"Yeah, that girl has bugged us enough. We deserve to get even." Another voice says.
I close my eyes and rest my head against the trunk of the tree.
"There's someone above you!" A voice screams in my head. I rip open my eyes and look up. Two eyes stare down at me. I jump to my feet and leap out of the tree.
I land hard but I feel no pain. How did that happen? The boy leaps down to but looses his footing and falls helplessly. I take the chance to bolt. After a couple minutes of running I stop. No one seems to be following me.
"Felix's behind you!" My mind screams. I whip around and there before me is Felix. He holds a club.
"How did you know I was here?" A smile crosses his lips.
"Lucky guess." I smirk.
"No there's more." He says. I stop and look at him. He jumps at me and pins me to a tree. I jump up and push his chest with my feet.
Why can't I be at camp? There's so many hiding places there! Felix gets up and menacingly walks towards me. He lifts his club high above his head, ready to brig it down on me. I can't defend myself, there is no where to hide. I close my eyes. Nothing happens.
I open my eyes, I'm in camp. How did I get here? I breath a sigh of relief.
"Still not safe, love." A British accent says. I flip around.
"Oh yeah? Your boys are so easy to defeat. Your just another boy, you can't take me down."
"I wouldn't be so sure." A fireball hurls toward me. It catches me by surprise, I scream and hold up my hands to protect me face. The hot ball never touches my skin. I put down my hands and see the ball hovering in mid air. Peter looks shocked. I take the chance to experiment. I hold out my hand and think fireball. A large firey ball shoots out of my outstretched palm. It hits Peter pinning him against the tree behind him. I run over to him.
"I win." I smirk.
***Felix's POV***
The girl disappears , just vanishes. I walk back to camp. I see Alice step back from Pan. He looks at her wide eyed.
This girl is just trouble. But somehow her being here feels right. It's odd and I don't like it, at all.
Pan sees me and beckons me over.
"So?" I ask. May as well see what the heck I'm going to have to deal with.
"She has the exact same powers as me." He breathes.
