"The sky was painted in hues of blue and purple with a tinge of orange running through the canvas like blood runs in the veins, and like you flow in my soul."

Walking through the aisles Aria could literally feel her head spinning as adrenaline was pumped into her veins.

After many days she finally felt good; thanks to Awez and Fariha who decided to have the final talk today and left for the families to decide the day for their Nikah.

Aria was still not in talking terms with her parents and brother but her mother, Samreen finally broke the gruesome silence with this news and though Aria was broken and hurt, she couldn't help but feel happy for this news. She dressed up in a beautiful chikankari dress and went to the college as she was about to go Fariha's place directly from there but Samreen called her and asked her to pick some stuff from the supermarket.

Yes, typical Samreen behaviour.

So here Aria was, too overdressed for a supermarket, looking for the cheesecake and chicken tikka ingredients while ignoring the constant buzzing of her phone.

She knew it was Aaminah and she also knew her friend knew something was off with her but Aria wasn't really in the mood in the past few days to share these stuff with anyone.

"There you are!", Aria exclaimed as she grabbed the spice mix she was looking for as she grabbed like eight packets of it... just in case.

And as she turned around, adjusting her dupatta,  she heard some voices... more like noises. It increased as she walked further and when she felt her dupatta kind of weird of her shoulder, she finally realized what was wrong.

With a horrified expression on her face she slowly and carefully turned around as if doing that would restore the mess she created.

Yes, our Aria's dupatta got stuck to a smaller shelf and it fell as she proceeded to walk.

"What the paratha?", she screeched as she saw the mess she unknowingly created.

There was a small crowd around her as she saw some people shooting daggers at her and two disgruntled employees walked towards the shelf.

"I'm sorry, this was a mistake.", Aria immediately apologized as she rushed towards the shelf to help them out.

The employees however dismissed her with a small smile and Aria gave an apologetic smile back.

Before she could finally look around, her phone buzzed again and she finally decided to pick it up.

"Yes Aaminah.... wait...", she started as she proceeded towards the counter.

As she dumped all the stuff her mother needed on the counter, a realization dawned upon her and she grabbed two huge chocolate bars.

"Don't put them in the carry bag", she instructed the cashier while Aaminah was impatiently waiting on the other side.

"Will I get your attention today?", a very irritated Aaminah screeched like a cat and Aria chuckled as she walked towards the aisle she accidentally tumbled.
The aisle was all set again and the two store executives were just arranging few other stuff.

"Hey... uhm... sorry for the extra trouble. Here!", she again apologized as she gave the two employees the chocolate bars and finally felt relieved when the stressful faces now had a genuine smile.

With short goodbyes and thank you's, Aria walked and for the last time in that day asked Aaminah to hold on for one last minute as she booked herself a cab.

Fifteen minutes to arrive.

"Okayyy Aamiii! Sorry! What's up?", Aria finally gave her attention to her best friend who was fuming on the other side.
