"Life wasn't this tragic.
It was all the consequences... all the questions left unanswered."
The whole house was bustling with laughter and Aria almost rolled her eyes seeing all the people enjoying free food and a good decorative space for their selfies and photoshoots.
She winced as she saw her cousins settling on her now empty dressing table to take an insta worthy picture.
Her heart felt empty, just like her room. The weird feeling of moving to a totally different country with a person with whom she was not on talking terms really got to her.
Aria was really sensitive these days. She cried easily, she got annoyed easily and right now she was irritated seeing everyone enjoy her pre wedding shenanigans except her.
"Looking at your face and your eerily quiet persona, I would've thought you were PMSing but you were already done with your monthly war four days ago so spill whatever is bothering you.", Aaminah snatched Aria out of her trance.
"Nothing. Just already getting homesick.", Aria gave a diffident smile as she traced the patterns of her dress she was wearing.
It was a beautiful white lehenga with golden and silver embroidery and stones, too heavy for Aria to handle, thankfully she wasn't supposed to move around alot in it.
Before Aaminah could probe anymore, Tanya interjected.
"Aria, you look like some Arab princess and you are about to get married to a man who looks like a freaking model. You should really be smiling and taking pictures while making other women jealous. Why are you sitting like you are already moving out?"
Aria felt her heartbeat increasing its pace when the already known information again settled in her brain but again, this was still very new to her and she was like a water puddle with all the attention she was getting.
She was feeling shy. Yes. And awkward.
Being all dressed up and having the stage to herself wasn't really Aria's cup of tea.... or black coffee.
"I'm moving out in five days. Here five weeks flew by in seconds and we are talking about five days.", Aria finally said something she actually meant and Aaminah sighed silently in relief.
Before Tanya could further argue, someone announced it was time to leave and Aria again gave herself the prep talk she was giving for the past few days.
"Lets do this...", she muttered to herself as she walked out of the door.

The lawn of the famous five star hotel looked nothing less than a scene straight out of a movie as it was adorned with all the pretty and exquisite decorations.
The theme was all white and golden for the mid-day nikah and it looked subtle yet beautiful.
Rizz looked strikingly handsome in his white thobe. He checked his phone for the millionth time today in the hopes of getting any text back from Aria.
Rizz gave her the space she needed but her silent treatment paired with the cold shoulder she was giving him was feeling like a dagger.
He was hurt and a bit mad too for how Aria was behaving and not letting him tell his side of the story. All she did was plaster a fake smile on her face whenever she was in a room with all the people during the pre wedding functions.
But all the complaints, all the estrangement was thrown away as soon as he saw Aria enter.
She was glowing.
