Alluka should be finished with her exam by now.She would be traveling to YorkNew,to meet up with her brother,sadly she won't find him.she would panic and call him but he won't answer,she would try again to no avail.Then she would try contacting his best friend, if she is lucky then she will succeed,if not then she will try contacting her mentor and her mentor would definitely answer.
She would meet up with her mentor who will try contacting her pupil and his best friend.Her pupil will not answer,if she is lucky then his best friend will answer. Then they would indulge in a search.As three professional hunters they will try to hunt him down,they would then realise that he has been missing for over 4 months.His best friend and his sister will start to panic,then their mentor will calm them down.
That's the best case scenario of course.
On the worst case,his brother-being the creep he is-will figure out that he was missing and take his sister back to their awful house,back to their family or he will happily stick needles in her head to control her.
Anything could happen to her and he wouldn't be there to protect her. If their time lines are the same then he should still have two or three weeks.He tried to reassure himself that there is still a some time but reality hit him hard,there was no progress on the search for dimensional quirks.
He sighed and pushed himself off the wall,Tsukauchi should be somewhere around campus,so he decided he will ask again for any progress. Anything to ease his mind with.But first he will have to win the match against Todoroki.
"He has been gliding through matches with ease so far,and seeing that relaxed face makes me feel nervous.Will he finally show his true abilities against Todoroki?Who knows?From the hero course it's Killua Zoldyck."
The crowd roared with with cheers as they welcomed them both to the ring,they were excited for Todoroki's match,they wanted to see what the so called scholarship student could do,against Todoroki's sheer power.
Killua eyed his classmate in mild interest as he said,"I hope you learned some new tricks Shoto,maybe like infusing some hand in hand combat with your quirk.This past few months have been boring maybe you could throw something interesting at me."
Todoroki tried not to be affected by the taunt,he wasn't a fool,he knew that this is going to be the hardest match if he was going to make it to the top. Killua was undeniably the strongest student in the hero course but that doesn't make him invincible,he must have a weakness a weak spot.
Todoroki only needs to trap him for sometime or push him out of bounds,getting an overwhelming win will be almost impossible on this round.
"Begin!"
The moment he heard the words the half and half boy shot a massive ice glacier at Killua,knowing that he will dodge with minimal movement.He shot a second ice wall at the boy trapping him between the two walls,giving him almost no space to move around.Present Mic's voice rang through the arena and the crowd cheered for Todoroki,who kept his eyes at Killua.
Almost immediately after trapping the pale haired boy,Todoroki shot a third glacier,faster than he has ever done,he tried to fill the space between the two walls.An attempt to trap his opponent in ice or push him out of bounds.
The audience roared and leaned closer to the edges in their seats,they thought the match would be over in a matter of seconds,in their eyes there was no way out for the scholarship student.
They underestimated him.
They didn't expect him to jump on the top of the first ice wall,they didn't think he would have enough time.
Killua crouched on the top with an almost playful smile as he gazed down at his opponent,"That was a neat opening move,Shoto. What's next?"he taunted ,standing up.
Seeing him standing up on the top of the ice wall enforced a superior aura around him,and the pale haired boy liked his superiority quite a bit.
He stepped off the ice wall,and gracefully landed on the floor before charging at Todoroki. He seemed to disappear mid stride,making the half and half boy raise his guard,Killua appeared right behind him and kicked mid air.
To his surprise Todoroki actually managed to dodge the kick and immediately counter attack,with such a close range he wouldn't have missed if he launched an ice attack,but unfortunately he decided to go for a punch.
Killua crouched on the floor and avoided the punch simultaneously swiping Todoroki's legs from below him,throwing him off his momentum.He crumbled like a card house and before his body could hit the ground,the pale haired boy ruthlessly kicked him in the face ,sending him flying. Todoroki rolled around like a rag doll but cushioned his fall with ice ,stopping himself from rolling out of the ring just in time.
Present Mic exclaimed on the match loudly,the crowed cheered and roared and Todoroki's ears ringed.He shook his head and stood up.
He swiped his leg on the ground trying to freeze it completely along with Killua's legs.Forcing the pale haired boy to jump on an the huge ice glacier that almost covered one third of the ring.
It was obvious Killua kept his guard up a bit more around Todoroki,after all he will have to win with no injuries.Once again Killua launched himself up to Todoroki,this time blue bolts of electricity danced on his palms,seeing this the half and half boy tried to isolate himself from the coming threat,.But Killua was faster than his ice, he easily jumped over it and planted both his palms flat on Todoroki's chest.
He shook Todoroki with electricity,but he grunted when he felt ice encasing his knee down to his ankle.He chuckled in surprise jumping away from his opponent,who was still trying to recover from the electricity that hit him.
Killua was tempted to break free of the ice but he was absolutely certain it will bite off some of his skin,he marveled at his opponents strategy. Killua's mobility is his greatest asset and by freezing his leg he will have half the mobility he had,and by freezing the floor he made it hard to move on,which put Killua at a greater disadvantage.
"Consider me impressed Shoto.I honestly never thought you will go this far."
Todoroki's gaze was blurring and his body wasn't obeying him as it should be,between his ice and Killua's electricity,his body was turning numb,and he knew he will have to finish this fast,before he collapses.
"You know?Ice isn't naturally a great conductor as water is,the H+ ions doesn't tunnel the electricity around very quickly."Killua said ,knocking his frozen toes on the icy floor,he smirked at Todoroki's confused face.
"But I still need to release Kaminar's 1.3 million volts,Y'know?"Killua crouched down focusing his aura on his good leg,he shot himself up high in the air,surprising everyone.
Before Todoroki could comprehend what happened,Killua used a move he haven't used in a while.
Kaminari's 1.3 Million volts weren't yellow as they used to be when the cat eyed boy released them, it was a massive captivating blue lightning that only targeted the half and half boy.Half of it passed through the boy and traveled to the ground but the other half shook the said boy causing him to pass out.
The attack didn't only stun Todoroki,it surprised everyone.Teachers ,Students and Audiences alike.
He managed to handle and direct a 1.3 million volt bolt.It was then that Kaminari saw the true difference between their skills.
Killua landed gracefully on one foot and turned towards Midnight, instinctively causing her to clear her throat.
"Todoroki has been knocked out,Killua advances to the finals!"
With a satisfied smirk Killua walked over to the nurses office to have the ice on his leg melted,to everyone's surprise,he didn't even limp.
