Killua followed Kai into the dark alley, with his guard up. Eri trembled in his hands as he pulled her closer. He knew this was risky, but it felt like the right thing to do.

" Children are tricky this days. They do whatever they like." Kai said reaching for the glove on his hand making Killua pause, he knew what Chisaki's quirk is and so did Eri who gasped softly, "Without caring what  the consequences might be."  

Killua recognized the the threat, and so did Eri who scrambled right out of Killua's arms to stand next to the man who nodded in approval.

"Oh, done with your temper tantrum already?"

Eri slowly nodded and started walking without even glancing back at the pale haired boy who watched with pressed lips until he was out of their sight.

Once he was sure they couldn't see him ,he activated Zetsu and ran after them. It wasn't hard to catch up ,it took him three seconds with Godspeed. He decided to tail them until he gets something to act on, a decision he regrets moments later.

"Eri, you must stop defying me. you are the center of my plans after all, and I hate getting my hands dirty." Chisaki said. The weight of his words made the little girl stumble.

"I'm sorry."

"You don't wanna be responsible for another death now do you?"

"N-no , sir."

"This kind of mistake can't be just forgotten, you will have to be punished for that ." Chisaki said, making Eri snap her neck toward him in absolute horror. Her scream died in her throat when his already bare hand stretched to her. The moment his hand touched her she disappeared, the only trace left was the big splash of blood on the wall, and as fast as she disappeared she appeared again just to fall on her knees and spit out the bile  from her mouth.She trembled and cried silently, too afraid to make a sound . The little girl felt gentle arms wrap around her in a flash, the embrace was unlike anything she knew but she was too afraid to look and check who held her.

"Oh, its you again." Chisaki said almost in boredom and exasperation. Killua's  bangs covered his eyes as his hands tightened protectively around the little girl. Killua have experienced pain inflicted by his family before , but everything his family did was calculated, to make him invincible, as much as he hates to admit it his family never done anything like this to him .This level was new even to him.

he felt Eri go limp in his arms , out cold. It fueled his anger even more.He was conflicted ,half of him wanted to get Eri medical attention, but the other half wanted to slaughter Chisaki. But unfortunately for him this wasn't his world.

He can not get away with murder like he used to.

Before he could decide, Chisaki made his move. Touching the wall, molding it into a spike to stab the younger boy. His reflexes kicked in, helping him dodge at the last second. And that's when he realised that Chisaki didn't care if he injured or impaled Eri , as long as he killed Killua.It was clear to him then, he knew what he had to do.

'Knock the bastard out and get Eri to a doctor.'

With that idea in mind , he dodged a spike after another and activated Godspeed and bolted towards the older guy. He wanted to belive that his calculations were off by seconds as spikes grew out of the wall in incredible speed but the glint in Chisaki's eyes told him otherwise.the spikes were very close to each other and had he been alone he could have smashed through them .But not only that they weren't all aimed at him, he knew he couldn't dodge them without getting the unconscious girl in his arms stabbed.

So he braced himself and silently cursed when he felt the spike dive into his side , he broke it off the moment it did  and before Kai Chisaki could celebrate Killua was right in front of him.With one swift chop he knocked him out.
