Chapter 1

There was this small town in Texas called Derbeu. Derbeu only had about 1,500 people that lived there, and most of the residents were over 75 years old. The only high school in that town was Derbeu High. It was such a small town that the school barely even had 300 students. There was about 150 sophomores, and of those sophomores there was one girl named Rebecca. Rebecca is 15 years old and isn't super popular. She only hung out with her one friend Lindsey and they were in all the same classes. The most popular kid in school was Justin Caylen and his best friend Kian Lawley. They were also sophomores Justin, or Jc as his friends call him, was in all of Rebecca's classes. Kian only had chemistry with Jc. Chemistry was Rebecca's favorite class but she had Kian assigned as her lab partner and he was always breaking things so they never really got much done. One day in class Rebecca and Lindsey were passing notes, Lindsey decided to ask who Rebecca liked but of course she wouldn't say. Rebecca finally gives in and writes down who she had a crush on, she tries to pass it to Lindsey but the teacher catches them and he decided, as a punishment, to read the note out loud.
" So who is the hottie you dream about at night? 😏 -Linz "
" Oh my god, why would you ask it such a creepy way?!! -Becca"
" Oh c'mon Bec I know you like someone"
" Maybe I do, Maybe I don't."
"TELL ME"
" Ugh, fine. I like -----"
He stopped reading noticing that it's was someone in the class. Rebecca's face turned bright red and just before anyone could ask about who it was the bell rang "Saved by the bell" Rebecca muttered.
