Chapter 6

The next day in chemistry he didn't say a word to me. He didn't look at me, or talk or anything. It was like I wasn't even there. After a very awkward class the bell rang.
"Wear comfortable clothes and something you can easily move in." after that he left. Once again I was confused. By now I probably look stupid to most people.

As soon as I got home I immediately started looking for something to wear. It was 4:16 when I started looking. 5:30pm when I heard my mom come home.
"Mom!" I yelled for her.
"What is it honey?" She asked as she walked up the stairs.
"It looks like a tornado was in here...." She said as she looked at my messy room.
"Comfortable and moveable." I said as i continued to dig through drawers.
"I need to wear something comfortable and moveable."
"What is this for?"
"Jc is taking me somewhere but I don't know where and all he told me was 6pm comfortable and moveable clothes." I looked at the clock and freaked out. 5:45. I ran to the bathroom and redid my makeup and fixed my hair. I ended up wearing jean shorts and a floral top with my white converse. 6:00pm.
I heard the door bell ring and I told my mom to answer it while I pinned back some hair. I decided to leave it down and bring a ponytail holder just incase.
"Hello." my mom said when she opened the door.
"Hi Mrs. Green. Do you know if Rebecca is ready?" Jc asked. His eyes quickly shifted towards me and asked if I was ready. I grabbed my jacket and phone and walked over to him.
"I am now." I smiled at him. "Bye mom."
"I'll have her home by 9:30" Jc assured my mom.
"10:30 and no later." she replied with a smile and a wave.
