Chapter 7

Jc and I walked down the path and I finally asked him.
"Where are we going?"
"I am taking you to my favorite place." He said without even a glance at me.
"Ok...?" I said as we continued to walk down the path until he stopped walking and looked across the street where there was a pathway led up a hill.
Jc started to walk across the street, so I followed.
"Jc? Where are we going?"
He didn't answer, he just kept quiet and continued to walk. We reached the top of the hill and we just stood there over looking the beautiful view.
There was a meadow with pink and purple flowers. Jc grabbed my hand to bring me closer to him. He covered my eyes with his one hand and held me close to him with his other, we began to walk.
"Where are you taking me? Jc?"
"Shhh. Just trust me." I was quiet until he removed his hands.
I saw a big oak tree that was surrounded by green grass and flowers. Underneath the tree there was a blanket with a note card on it.
It read:
Can we call this a date?

I turned around to see Jc holding some flowers.
"Is this a serious question?" I asked only half joking.
"Yes."
"Well in that case.... Of course!" He grabbed me and kissed my cheek.
"This maybe the most cliché thing but... Would you like to watch the sunset with me?"
I gave him a sweet smile and grabbed his hand as we laid in the blanket and I curled into his side. Soon after the sun disappeared and we laid there in the dark and watch the sky lighten as the many stars brightened.

*Jc's POV*
Once the sun went down we laid there and looked up at the stars. Soon later Rebecca had fallen asleep and was using me as a blanket. I took my jacket off and laid it over her body. I put my head back and just sat there with her. At that moment the world had seemed to stop. Everything in slow motion. Time had seemed to be a non-existent idea.

I felt my phone buzz. I checked it and it was a text from Kian.
