"Achoo!"

Kirito lifted his head from the map on his translucent window and looked for the source of the sound, his gaze resting on his partner. They were currently on their way to the boss meeting; a party from the ALS had found the boss room the other day.

"Bless you," he offered, remembering his manners. Asuna opened her mouth to reply and sneezed again.

This time he allowed himself a quiet snicker.

"Oh, shut up!" She finally spoke, smacking his arm. "What's so funny about sneezing?"

"Didn't we decide that there isn't really sneezing in a virtual world?" He reminded.

She frowned and crossed her arms. "Well, I guess so. But that was under different circumstances, right?"

"What's that mean?"

"That was some kind of effect from the weather that convinced our brains it was cold," She explained. "But that can't be the case now, right?"

Kirito thought for a moment and nodded. The time she was referring to had occurred back in december. It was now nearing the end of March, so it definitely wasn't due to the in-game weather.

He flinched as Asuna sneezed again. "Bless you."

"You don't have to say it every time," She said with a glare. "But thank you."

He nodded again and turned to face forward. "We're here."

The meeting was going to be held at a small arena-like building, much like the one back on the first floor. Kirito and Asuna made their way in, the latter going straight to the stands and plopping down with an exhausted sigh.

Her partner glanced at her in concern. Before he could follow, he felt a large hand on his shoulder and looked around.

"What's up, Blackie?" Agil grinned. "Nice to see you came."

"Of course I did," Kirito muttered, pushing his hand off. "We've never missed a boss fight."

Agil chuckled and looked past the black swordsman. "Yo, is Asuna alright? She looks totally beat."

Kirito turned to see for himself. Sure enough, his partner was sitting slightly hunched, her arms wrapped around herself as she shivered.

"She was sneezing earlier," He said. "Something is definitely going on. I'll take her back to the inn."

"You'll miss the meeting," Agil noted.

"Argo will fill us in."

Kirito waved to his friend and approached Asuna, who looked like she was fighting sleep.

He tapped her foot with his and she looked up. "What, did the meeting end already?" She asked.

"It hasn't even started," he chuckled, though there was clear concern in his eyes. "Come on, we're going back to the inn. I'll buy the meeting info from Argo tonight."

Asuna gave him a hard stare, her intimidation quickly ruined by another cute sneeze. Kirito barely managed to stifle his laughs as he held out a hand. She frowned and made a noise of discomfort, taking his hand.

He pulled her up and started to tug his hand away, but her grip seemed to stay firm. He looked back at her and smiled pitifully when he was her swaying, eyes half shut.

"C'mon, Asuna," he adjusted her so that she was leaning on him and began walking at a pace she could follow in her state.

Once they arrived at the inn, Kirito rented a cheap room and led her in.
