Chapter 26.2: Our First Valentines cont... Shooter & Mimi
Hours Earlier...
"Baby" Shooter called out to Mimi as she lied snuggled up in his arms. Yet she didn't budge. "Baby" he called her again. They were in bed at her crib. Shooter had been staying at Mimi's place pretty much since they moved to LA. They weren't officially living together nor were all of his belongings at her place but they were used to spending nights together whether he was at her place or she was at his and they really didn't want to stop what they had already started in Jersey. They were going with the flow just like they had been for the past six months and didn't feel like being apart.
"Yes" she sleepily mumbled with her eyes still closed.
"I need you to get up so we can start our day" he said as he pulled a piece of her hair from out of her face knowing she was going to be upset once she realized that her bonnet and scarf hadn't stayed on throughout the night. He didn't care how secure she put on her scarf and topped it off with her bonnet nine times out of ten it was coming off because she was sort of a wild sleeper.
"But I'm sleepy" she whined and he could just hear the pout in her voice.
He really didn't want to wake her since he knew she was tired from working her ass off at the office. Since she had to transition from Jersey back to LA she had been putting it down at work making sure things were running as smooth as possible but today he had the whole morning planned out for her. Of course Valentine's Day wasn't a major holiday but it was their first one together so he wanted to bring it in right and celebrate it the right way. It was the first of hopefully many so he wanted to show her what she needed to get use to if she was going to be his woman. He wanted her to know that even though Valentine's wasn't a major holiday that he was always going to make sure she was extra spoiled that day. Shooter had even convinced her to take the day off just so he could spoil her and spend time with her because they like the rest of the couples were enjoying the alone time together.
"Well if you want to stay in bed and forget bout Valentine's Day then be my guest" he said and shrugged with a smirk on his face knowing damn well she'd be up in no time. Threatening her with a good time was no threat. She was always ready and if she wasn't she was going to get ready.
