Harry's POV

We were at the recording studio working on a new song. Lena was sitting outside the booth, texting. She looked beautiful today.

"Stop staring." Niall whispered under his breath as Liam entered the room.

"Lena is about to leave. We're about to get started." Liam said.

"Where is Lena going?" I asked, trying to sound casual.

"Out with Alan." Liam said, not paying much attention.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" I asked.

Now he looked up at me. "I think Lena has earned some time to herself not surrounded by 5 big brothers." He said.

"Lena is my wife!" Louis called. I rolled my eyes.

"I'm just saying." I said. "We don't really know this guy that well."

"I trust Lenas judgement." Liam said.

I didn't. Alan was trouble. And nothing more.

Lena's POV

I leaned against Alan as the bus drove off from Liam's recording studio. He'd agreed to meet me here, but he wouldn't tell me where we were going.

He was stiff beside me, but he at least put his arm around me. I was glad for that. He's been acting weird since the night before the interview. And he would always look at Harry with the oddest look whenever he saw him.

He was mad we had to take the bus, but I had taken the advice from Liam to heart and didn't want to be driving his car around. Plus I didn't know the streets that well and Alan didn't own a car.

"Do I get to know where you're taking me?" I asked.

"No." he replied shortly.

Frowning, I leaned away from him and met his eyes. "Something wrong?" I asked.

"No." Alan repeated.

"Seems like it." I said.

"Nothing's wrong, Lena." He said.

Deciding to leave it alone, I leaned into him again. He was even stiffer than before.

The bus finally stopped moving and I looked out the window. We were at an eye clinic. What the hell?

Alan stood up and led me off the vehicle. "What are we doing here?" I asked.

"They take walk ins here. I figured you could get your contacts today." Alan said.

I frowned. "Don't I need an adults signature for that? I haven't even talked to Liam yet." I said. I had agreed to ask him about it, but with the interviews and my brother being busy recording I hadn't gotten the chance yet.

"Look, Lena. It's your body. You can do whatever you want with it. You shouldn't have to ask Liam." He said.

"Maybe but the doctor will ask me because I'm a minor." I said.

"Lena are you stupid? They'll know who you are. You won't need anything. Go in and get your damn contacts." Alan said, exasperated.

I frowned at him. "Don't be an asshole." I warned. Why was he acting like this anyway? It was just a pair of contacts. My eyes weren't a medical problem that needed immediate attention. They bothered me, not him.

Or did they?

"How am I being an asshole?! I'm trying to help you here Lena!" he exclaimed.

I bit my lip. Maybe he was right. Maybe I should just go get the contacts. I did hate my eyes changing color, after all. And I did want to fix them...
