CHAPTER 10:Rival

Y/N POV

Looks like Kenma got mad at me too. I don't why. I just watch him leave. Suddenly a tears falling down my face. I wiped it and went to the gym. I went to the stage and get my guitar. I fixed my things and headed home.

"Hey y/n, where are going?" Kenzo-senpai asked.

"I-I'm going home. There's something I need to do!" I said to him.

"Okay. Be safe. Message us if you got home just to be safe. Okay?" Kenji-senpai said.

"Yes! And it's too early don't worry about me!" I said and waved goodbye to them. And I look to Kenma who's playing on his psp. My feet suddenly run. Why am I bothering about that? I don't do anything wrong to him? What should I do? Should I asked him why his angry? Ahh. Maybe I'm annoying. His annoyed when I'm with him. He got tired of my existence maybe.

I headed home. Kicking rocks at the street. With a deep sigh. When I reach my house. I went inside and straight to my room and hug my pillow.

KENMA POV

When I left y/n on the tree, I feel guilty about it. I feel guilty acting rude to her. I should apologize to her.

And suddenly she went inside the gym and straight to stage, she fixed her things and say goodbye to his senpais and she left. I just watched her leave. I feel the heaviness in my heart.

"Oyy kenma is something wrong?" Kuroo asked me.

"Nothing!" I said and go back to my psp.

"Hey Tsukishima, I don't know you can sing!" Kuroo said as he approached Tsukishima.

"Stop that kuroo-san!" He said and just flew away.

"Tsk!" I said and went to the locker room to change clothes. It pisses me off when I heard him. I kick the locker out of frustration.

"Is there something wrong kenma-san?" Lev asked. I just glared at him and he suddenly run outside the locker room.

*sigh* I don't have a chance. I just ignore so that this feeling won't grow.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

After a practice they're having a dinner together with Karasuno.

"So, tsukishima what do you think of y/n?"Nishinoya asked him.

"What? I think she's nice. Why?!" Tsukishima said.

"WOOOAHH!" Tanaka and Nishinoya said.

"I think you two will fit together. Bind by music!" Tanaka teases him.

"Why not? She's my type actually!" Tsukishima said sarcastically.

"Wooooaaahhh! Really??" Tanaka, yamaguchi, nishinoya and hinata said out of surprise.

Suddenly Kenma is really getting annoyed with this conversation. And any moment he might explode.

"Yeah! A person who respect personal space, who love music and understand volleyball and I think she's a great person and very considerate. Why not? Right?" Tsukishima said plainly.

"Wooaaahhhh should we arrange you two on a date?" Tanaka said.

Suddenly a loud sound coming to Kenma's table. He suddenly stood up and leave. They stared at Kenma with a confused eyes as he walks outside.

"Excuse me!" Kuroo said as he went after to Kenma.

"What's wrong with Kenma?" Hinata asked.

Nekoma just shrugged their shoulders.

"I think I have rival over y/n" Tsukishima said while eating his dinner and smirk.

Slowly the teams look at him with a bit of shocked.

"Ehhhhhh???" They said in sync.

"Yeah think about it. They are always together since the light music clube came to the gym!" Yamamoto said.

"I saw kenma-san kicking the locker room earlier!" Lev said.

"He walks out when Tsukishima is singing!" Yaku said.

Tsukishima just smirk and finish his dinner.

KUROO'S POV

"Hey Kenma!" I said as I'm chasing Kenma. He just walks straight and he never look back. So I just run for him to talk to him.

"Wanna talk about it?" I asked him as I face him. He just nodded so we got to a park to talk about it.

"Tell me. I'm listening!" I said as we sat to the swings.

"I-I--" He stop and I look at him.

"Look, I know you have something in there you want to talk about. I know you. We're friends fo years. I know what's gotten in your mind!" I said and he just release a deep sigh.

"I think I'm inlove with y/n" he said and he just stared at the ground.

"I know.!" I said as I really know how he felt for y/n the moment we saw them.

"So what you're gonna do about it?" I asked him and look at him.

"I, I'll just ignore her. To stop this feelings from growing!" He said.

"Wait, no... why?" I said

"I don't have a chance kuroo" he said. This is really serious. Whenever he called my name I know his serious.

"But, you could try. Right?" I said to him.

"I don't wanna. I think it's just exhausting and painful!" He said like his the only one in the world who's hopeless.

"Think of it as a game in reality!" I said

"What do you mean?" He asked me.

"When you're playing games, the harder the quest the more you pursue on finishing that game. And I know that Kenma is not giving up when it's challenging! Right?" I said to him.

"But Kuroo this isn't a game who I gain skills and gems to buy skills!" He said as he faced me.

"Okay. But do you really want Tsukishima to take her away from you?" I asked with a bit of prayer.

"N-no!" He said with a sad voice.

"Then do something before it's too late!" I said to him. And stood up and pat his back.

"You can do it!" I said. And he just nodded.

We went home after that talked. His just quiet the whole way home.

"So, have you decided?" I asked when we got infront of his house.

"Not yet kuroo!" He said and just went inside.

"O-okay!" I said as I saw him walking inside his house.

*sigh* goodness Kenma. I hope you realize before it's too late. I went home and just plopped to my bed.

Suddenly a message popped up to my phone.

A new group chat??? all are included except Kenma and Tsukishima.

Me: what's with this group?

Hinata: how's kenma?

Kuroo: his fine now.

Yamamoto: Is he really have some feelings to y/n?

Tanaka: Yeah, what's the situation there?

Kuroo: that's enough guys. Respect their privacy. I don't want to interrupt in this kind of things.

Daichi: leave them alone guys.

Yaku: Give them space.

Sugawara: let them do want they want to do. Don't eavesdrop in someone's life. Okay?

I off my phone. I hope Kenma is alright. I know him very well. He don't do much until you push him to. Are you again, gonna let this go Kenma?
