I get off the couch and sit next to Alvaro. He looks at me, then Bryce and starts laughing.
Bri: What's so funny ? Alvaro: Why aren't you with your boyfriend ? Bri: He's not my boyfriend and cause I wanna be with you. Alvaro: Bri, I promise you I'm ok. Bri: I know, but I still wanna hangout with you.
We look through his for you page together until we get bored. Then we decide to play among us. Throughout the game, I would look up from my phone and at Bryce. Every time, I would catch him staring, and he would look away smiling. Mattia makes me clean his room, so I go over to where he keeps his clothes. I start fixing them all. I'm picking up all his dirty clothes from the floor when Bryce comes up to me.
Bryce: Hey Bri: Hi I say continuing to clean. Bryce: Let me help you. He says, grabbing clothes from my hands making sure to touch me in the process. Bri: Stop doing that. I whisper yell. Bryce: Stop doing what ? He asks, smiling. Bri: Stop trying to be all touchy feely. I don't like that shit. Bryce: Why ? Bri: Because Bryce: Do I give you butterflies? He whispers into my ears. Bri: There not butterflies. It's my stomach telling me to throw up after hearing all that bullshit. I say tossing him the rest of the clothes and walking away. Bri: Hey it's getting late. I think I'm gonna go home already. Mattia: No Kai: You suck Ale: You're going to the carwash right ? Bri: Yeah Bryce: I'll walk you home. I roll my eyes.
After I say bye to all the boys and Mattia's family, I walk out the door with Bryce following behind me. We start walking to my house which is about 10 minutes away.
Bri: Can I ask you something? Bryce: Yeah Bri: Be honest ok ? I'm not tryna hear bullshit. Bryce: Promise Bri: Why did you wanna start talking to me ? Bryce: Oh I see, you got trust issues. Bri: Big time Bryce: Well to be honest, I don't really know. You're pretty, and when the boys would talk about you, they always said you were cool to be around. I just wanted to get to know you. Bri: Good to know. Bryce: I would never do anything to try and lose your trust. Bri: I appreciate it, but don't make promises you can't keep. Bryce: Who says I can't keep it ? Bri: They were made to be broken. Bryce: Not when I make them. Bri: Ok whatever you say buddy. Bryce: What sup with you and relationships ? How come you ain't never been in one? He asks catching up to me. Bri: I don't really know. I guess boys don't like me. Bryce: Cap, I heard Mark had a crush on you. (Mark Anastsio, not the bodyguard) Bri: You talking about the cute white boy. Bryce: Oh so you think he's cute ? Bri: Did I say cute ? I meant fine. I say smiling. Bryce: Damn Bri: I'm just kidding. Bryce: Nah but for real. You're 16 and have never been in a relationship. Bri: I guess that's just not my priority. I don't go out every day looking for a man to please my needs. I go out everyday looking for a way to help advance my career. Life is not about looking for love, but making a lifestyle that you love. We arrive at my house. Bryce: I agree, but baby you don't gotta look for it because it came to you. He says with a big smile. Bri: Shut up I say pushing his face away Bryce: On some real shit tho He says looking into my eyes. Bryce: Who broke you Brianna ? Jay walks out. Jay: Ya metate en la casa. Bri: Bye Bryce Bryce: Bye I go into the house with Jay behind me. Jay: Who is he ? Bri: A friend. Jay: Just a friend ? Bri: Ok maybe he likes me, but who cares ? Jay: I care. I want to know who you hang out with. Especially if you're thinking about being in a relationship with them. I know you're smart enough to know who you can and can't trust. I just want to make sure that you're emotions don't get in the way of making these decisions ok ? He asks looking for reassurance. Bri: His name is Bryce. I've known him for like a week. He's friends with the boys. I don't want a relationship, but you know how teenagers are. Jay: Thank you. Bri: I love you Jay. Jay: One more thing. If you go out in public, Mark needs to start going with you. He doesn't have to go with you if you're hanging out with the boys or somewhere where there isn't a lot of people. Bri: Yes father I say bowing. Jay: Go to your room stupid. He says laughing as he pushes me.
As I am walking upstairs, I get a message from Kairi.

I get in my room and throw my phone on my bed. I take off my clothes to change into some comfy ones. Someone call my phone, and I check it. It's a FaceTime from Bryce. I answer it.
Bryce: Hey Bri: What ? Bryce: How come I can't see your face ? Bri: Cause I'm changing. Bryce: Put the phone up I wanna see. Bri: No you pervert. I finish changing and turn off the lights. Bri: Whatchu call me for ? I say getting into bed. Bryce: I'm walking home and I keep hearing shit behind me. Bri: How is calling me gonna help ? Bryce: When I look at your beautiful face, it makes me calm down. I roll my eyes. Bri: Mhm Bryce: Bro what the fuck was that ? He says looking behind him. Bri: Why you not running ? Bryce: I got my good shoes on. Bri: Take them off then. Bryce: But then my feet are gonna get all dirty and wet. Bri: Why do you even have them on ? Bryce: I was tryna look good for you. Obviously I look dumb as fuck. Bri: You're not dumb. You just have no common sense. Bryce: I feel so much better. He says sarcastically. Bri: If I'm being honest, you look cute. Bryce: Thank you, thank you. I get that a lot. Bri: Did you stop hearing noises ? Bryce: Yeah Bri: Can I hang up now ? Bryce: Noooo Bri: Whhhyyyy ? Bryce: Can you just stay on the phone til I get home ? Please mama. Bri: Fine Bryce: Was that your dad ? He asks referring to Jay. Bri: No it was my manager, so yeah my dad. Bryce: No introduction. What kind of girlfriend are you ? Bri: Jay is not the best person with introductions. Bryce: I can change someone's mind. Bri: Conceited, just my type. I say sarcastically. Bryce: Mama I'm everyone's type.
We ended up on FaceTime until 3 in the morning. I went straight to sleep after. The next morning I woke up around 12. Jay made a list of things for me to do before I could hangout with Kai. When I was doing the last thing , the was a knock at the door. I open it and see Kai and Rob.
Bri: Hey I say kind of out of breath Kai: Hey, you ready. Bri: I just have to get ready first. Come in. Kai: I texted you yesterday for this exact reason. Bri: I'm sorry, Jay made me do some stuff before I could hang out with y'all. Kai: Mhm and Bryce has nothing to do with this Bri: Why would he ? I ask genuinely confused. Rob: He posted a day photo of you guys on FaceTime to his spam. Bri: Of course he did. We exit my house and start walking. Kai: You should just date him already. Bri: I should, but I probably won't. Rob: Way to play with his feelings. Bri: I'm playing with his feelings ? He's the one kissing me, calling me mama, making me smile, giving me butterflies and shit. Kai: Awwww you love him. He says teasing me. Bri: Shut up Kai: Speaking of relationships He says changing the subject. Kai: Mattia is OFFICIALLY DATING Vic. Bri: Are you fucking serious ? I ask angrily. Kai: Made a TikTok and posted it on ig. He even went live. Worst part is h- Bri: He didn't even tell Alex. I say cutting him off. Rob: Damn Kai: I'm not even against there relationship. It's just he should've told him. As his best friend he should've told him. Out of respect for our friend group he should've told us. I mean I know we don't have a say in their relationship but like cmon. At least tell us before we find out through the internet. Bri: Look at you being all mature.
