"Mew... Our first wedding anniversary is next week... Can we go celebrate somewhere? I know you're busy with office work since you just got back to your office but is it possible to go to the beach or some resort or someplace where you and I can enjoy a quiet time together? It has been a really trying and insufferable time for our family I know... Forgive me for being rather selfish. Nevertheless Mew..." Gulf sighed.
"Nevertheless... Is it plausible if I have you all to myself for a day? Or maybe half a day?" Gulf murmured.
"I want you all to myself... For... For..." Gulf could not continue with what he had been saying.
"I'm selfish, aren't I?" Gulf asked.
"Self-serving... self-loving... Narcissistic Gulf Kanawut." Gulf murmured.

He stared at his reflection in the mirror. Would he be seen as selfish if he were to request that from his husband? Since the accident, Mew and Gulf had been overwhelmed by everything that had happened. From taking care of Mew and Saint. From making sure that Mew and Saint get better everyday. To being with Mew and Saint when they had hospital appointments and physical therapy. To ensuring Saint and Zee's schooling was running smoothly so they would not be left behind. Gulf slowly started feeling crushed by everything. Nonetheless, he did not have the heart to tell it to Mew.

Mew had started going back to work as well even though he still limped a little and he would feel the occasional aches and pains; he went to his office a few times in a week and would also work from his home office. Would he look like a needy person if he were to ask Mew for a day just doing nothing with his husband? Gulf wondered. Mew had some problems with his project in Indonesia that it had taken so much of his time. More than before. Gulf sighed. He thought whether he should tell his husband what was on his mind but Mew was so tired and so busy all the time that Gulf felt that he would distract Mew from his responsibilities. Gulf sighed out loud again.

"Baby... What's on your mind? You're thinking too much... Again." Mew said from where he was standing.

Gulf quickly turned around and smiled at his husband. Then it dawned on him if Mew had heard what he had said a few minutes before.

"Did you hear everything I said Mew?" Gulf felt guilty.
"Huh? What did you say? I have just arrived when I saw you thinking and looking as if you have the weight of the world on your shoulders." Mew stated as he slowly walked into their bedroom.
"I didn't say anything important." Gulf answered.
"I'm so tired." Mew murmured and rubbed his weary face.
"Have you eaten? Want me to fix you something?" Gulf stood up and moved closer to Mew.
"I had some dinner just now... How about you? Have you eaten?" Mew asked Gulf and he sighed when Gulf hugged him.
"I need this." Mew whispered happily when he wrapped his arms around his husband.
"I haven't eaten... I don't feel like eating." Gulf murmured.
"Want me to fix something for you instead Baby?" Mew asked but Gulf shook his head.
"You sure?" Mew queried.
"I had a rather heavy lunch. I'm fine Mew." Gulf murmured and he felt guilty for lying. He had breakfast and he had not eaten at all after that.
"I guess the boys are sleeping?" Mew questioned.
"They better!" Gulf muttered and Mew's body shook from laughter.
"They've grown so much. They are no longer our babies." Mew stated.
"They argue a lot now too." Gulf shared.
"I fought a lot with my siblings too... I guess it's part of growing up." Mew replied.
"I don't know Mew... They sort of... They are no longer the Two Terrors." Gulf could not help a little melancholic when he thought of his brothers.
"They will be fine Baby. Don't think too much." Mew responded and kissed Gulf's forehead.
"You want to shower first Mew?" Gulf asked his husband.
"Yeah... There is so much to do at work..." Mew trailed and then he yawned.
"We better sleep Mew." Gulf suggested.
"You are flying to Indonesia tomorrow right?" Gulf queried and Mew nodded.
"How long are you going to be there Mew?" He questioned his husband.
"A week if everything goes to plan but I might have to be there longer... Why Baby?" Mew asked Gulf.
"Nothing... Nothing..." Gulf slowly shook his head.
"You've been working too much that's all." Gulf murmured while playing with Mew's shirt collars.
"Someone messed up... I have to fix what has been messed up and it's not easy." Mew complained.
"I'm sorry that I can't help you Mew." Gulf whispered.
"I have you here... That's perfectly enough for me." Mew stated and hugged Guff again.
"Mew... It's late... You need to wake up early tomorrow." Gulf murmured.
"I know..." Mew's shoulders slumped.
"I'm going to check on the boys." Gulf stated and let his husband go.
"Gulf... Well..." Mew trailed as he studied his husband. Gulf waited but Mew shook his head and smiled instead.
"Nothing Baby... Sorry." Mew murmured and rubbed the back of his neck.
"You sure Mew?" Gulf stared at Mew.
