Mew checked his cellphone again. Gulf was 3 hours late. He was supposed to come home at 3 and now it was already 6 in the evening. It had been close to a year since Mew brought Gulf home from the hospital. It had been a few months since the incident with his adoptive father and Gulf even begged him to not have bodyguards following him as he wanted normalcy. Mew relented. Gulf promised to always inform him his whereabouts and his coming and going. That was part of the deal. Nevertheless, this was the second time that month that Gulf was late. Mew could not shake off the feeling of uneasiness and nervousness. Gulf and his children's safety was always on his mind. He knew that these 3 strangers had become his life and if anything were to happen to them; he would die.Mew could hear the sound of a car nearing their mansion. He looked down from the balcony and he could see Gulf's car. His boyfriend then got into the garage and parked his car there. Mew slowly left the balcony and left his library. He then walked down the stair and waited for Gulf at the side door where it was attached to their garage. The door opened and Gulf walked in with a smile on his face. Gulf's smile then faltered as he knew Mew was unhappy with him being late and Mew's expression was not a happy one.
"Where have you been?" Mew asked Gulf.
"Nowhere." Gulf replied.
"You got me worried!"
"I'm sorry..." Gulf murmured while wrapping his arms around Mew.
"I followed what you wanted Baby... No bodyguards following you... But you have to tell me where you are." Mew reprimanded Gulf.
"I'm sorry okay... I'm home and I am fine..." Gulf answered.
"You will be the death of me!" Mew kissed Gulf's forehead.
"I'm sorry." Gulf murmured.
"You are 3 hours late!"
"I was... At the library... I forgot the time." Gulf replied while licking his lips nervously. Mew sensed something was wrong, but he was not sure what.
"Are you telling the truth Gulf?" Mew questioned.
"Yes."
"I was so worried Gulf. You promised that you would tell me if you were late!" Mew raised his voice.
"I'm sorry Mew. I won't do it again." Gulf muttered.
"Is Gulf in trouble?" A voice was suddenly heard. It was Saint's.
"Yes he is!" Mew stated.
"Will you spank him like you spank me? Did he not do his homework?" Saint asked.
"No, I won't spank him." Mew replied.
"You should spank him." Saint retorted.
"Why should I?" Mew was curious.
"Cause later... He can get chocolates from Grandma." Saint explained.
"Really... When I spank you... Grandma gives you chocolates?" Mew questioned the 8 year old.
"Yes. All the time." Saint beamed proudly and left the two adults.
"Mew... You don't have to worry about me." Gulf muttered.
"I can't cause you and the boys are the most important things in my life!" Mew answered. Gulf smiled at Mew and wrapped his arms around his waist.
"Thank you Mew... But you don't worry about me. Like Really." Gulf said trying to convince Mew.
"What should I do with you Gulf?" Mew put his forehead on Gulf's.
"I'm sorry that I made you worry." Gulf said.**************************************************************
"Hello Mr Suppasit."
"Yes?"
"Mr Kanawut is at Iconsiam."
"What? He told me that he's at the library." Mew said.
"He was but after that he drove to Iconsiam Sir."
"Thanks for the information. Bye." Mew hung up.Mew could not believe his ears. Iconsiam? What was Gulf doing there? Mew thought whether he should call and ask Gulf; or should he just believe that Gulf was okay. Did Gulf intentionally lie to him? Was he hiding something? Mew shook his head. Gulf was a straightforward person. He would tell you if he liked or disliked anything. He would tell you his honest opinions of things. Then, why was Gulf going missing for hours for no apparent reasons until Mew had to have his security team follow his boyfriend? Mew had no answers to the questions. Gulf would go missing for hours a few times a week and Mew could not understand why. Mew was not sure whether he should head to Iconsiam to check on Gulf. How would Gulf feel if suddenly he were there? Would Gulf be unhappy? Would Gulf feel angry? He was just glad that he had put somebody following Gulf not because he did not trust his muse but instead he wanted Gulf to be safe.
