Fallen [Sooshu]

Part 1 | Angels

Droplets of water started to hit her face as the rain then poured out heavily. She sighed as she remembers that she didn't brought her umbrella today.

From afar a certain angel was watching her. The certain angel wanted to protect her from the rain but she can't. The angel sighed as she watch the girl being soaked by the rain walking down the road. "What are you doing here?" the angel heard the familiar voice. She turned to look at the person who was behind her holding her umbrella upright.

"I'll go give her my spare umbrella." The person said without thinking twice. The angel watched how she gave the umbrella to the girl. "Okay I'm back." the angel stifle a laugh. "You're always here. Yuqi was looking for you all day." the older whined when she remembered how Yuqi bothered her this morning.

"Mianhe unnie. Where's Yuqi by the way?" the younger one asks as she lands her feet on the ground. "She's inside my shop Shu so let's go." the older dragged the angel down the building where they were. The angel couldn't complain but to follow even though she has her wings she decided to just walk with her unnie.

The older opened the door and made sure that everything was closed. The curtains was down and the wooden door was closed. "You made me worried." an Archangel interrupted the two. Shuhua looked at Yuqi.

S H U H U A -

I look at the Archangel in front of me. "Okay." I coldly replied to her. "Yah Shuhua. You almost let yourself be in danger again by helping her for like what three times already. I can't bare to see you be punished by doing something like that." Yuqi finished her not so short speech.

"Then what do you want me to do let those bad guys harass her." I argued. "I was just-" I cut her off. "I know you're worried about me because I am under your care but I can't bare to see her suffer. I care about her a lot and you know that. If ever she needs help then I will surely sacrifice anything just for her." I said with finality.

"Just be careful. I don't want you to be caught by some seraphim." I noticed that Yuqi was true to her words. "I will." I said.

"Now that was quite dramatic of you two." the older suddenly said. We both look at her weirdly. "Now go away because I can't close my bar today just for the two of you." I rolled my eyes at her. "I still can't believe you're running a business like this." the Archangel hissed.

"We'll go now." me and Yuqi decided to left Minnie unnie. "Yeosu is the next destination that you need to check." Yuqi instructed me as she vanished in front of me.

I followed her orders as I spread my wings wide revealing the white feathers from it.

Not long after I arrived in Yeosu. The whole place was busy since it was already night. People were busy associating with each other. I fly around to find something but luckily there was none so I decided to go back to Seoul to report to Yuqi.

I saw the Archangel with some puppies. "You do have a time for that." I annoyingly said. "Why? They're cute." she complained while petting the puppies. I sighed. "I didn't saw anything strange around there. Why did you even let me go there?" I irritatingly said to her. She just wasted my time. "I just wanted to play with you." she laughed loudly with her deep voice.

"You little piece of-" I almost cursed when she suddenly glared at me. "Okay I won't." I surrendered myself.

We were about to go when I suddenly heard that made me halt from my place. Please stop. I heard 'her' thoughts. I immediately left Yuqi trying to pin point 'her' location. Don't do this. I quickly fly to where she is.

I landed my feet carefully on the seemingly cold floor. A huge warehouse was in front of me. I heard her yells and cries from the inside. A hand stopped me from going inside the warehouse. "Be careful." I was surprised to see Yuqi. "I will." I assured her.

The inside was dark and the smell of sweat and blood filled up my senses. "Don't move. I know you'll like this." I followed where the voice was and at the corner of the place there was at least three guys towering 'her'. I clenched my fist.

I dashed towards them. They can't see me but I can touch them. I looked around as I saw a piece of clothing. I took it as I tied it around 'her' eyes. 'Her' hands were tied up so it was easy for me to cover her eyes up. The guys in front of us looked at the scene weirdly. Well who wouldn't when you are seeing a flying piece of clothing being tied on your victims eyes

I laughed at their reaction. "Let's start this." I whispered to the air as I crack my knuckles. I punched them one by one trying to play with them. "Yah show yourself up coward." I heard the other said while looking around holding his bruised face. I saw Yuqi from the entrance. "Finish that I can feel someone near us." she yelled as I hurriedly finished them.

Don't worry I didn't kill them. I untied 'her' hands and feet from the rope. "Who are you?" her soft voice made my breath hitched. "You don't have to know me." I whispered which was so dumb of me because I know she can't hear me. Humans can't hear, see, or even touch us.

I took her blindfold off. "Why?" I halted. Did she heard me? "Shu let's go I saw a seraphim." Yuqi shouted once more. "Be careful next time." I whispered which I know she wouldn't eve heard not a single letter from it. I hurriedly went out of the warehouse. "Minnie already knew. She's on her way here." Yuqi informed me as we both can't vanished.

Shuhua thought that she didn't left any trace but a single white feather was now on 'her' hand. She look at the beautiful white colored feather in her hands.

She heard the siren from outside as she stands up carefully. She was lucky that someone helped her but to her dismay she didn't saw who saved her. She walks outside of the wearhouse limping as the guys pushed her hand on the floor earlier causing for her ankle to be twisted. She winced in pain.

"Here I'll help you." a seemingly not tall woman offered a help. The woman was in fact a police officer. "Tell us what happened later. We will bring you to the nearest hospital first." the police woman helped 'her'.

Y U Q I -

We watched the scene while sitting on the edge of the high building. "Be thankful that the seraphim didn't caught you." I worriedly said.

"I don't care anymore as long as she's okay." she answered. I sighed at her answer. I can't really stop her with this. I saw Minnie from my peripheral vision. "Another trouble." we turned to look at Minnie who was crossing her hands over her chest. "Mianhe unnie." the younger one from us apologized. Our gaze softened at this angel.

Shuhua can be quite a softy especially with that girl. I admire her braveness even though she knows what will happen to her even after all of the things that she's been doing just for that girl. Me and Minnie can't stop her from loving that girl even if it's a sin because me and Minnie understands her.

"Let's go back now. It's not safe for the two of you to be here especially that Yuqi had seen a seraphim awhile ago." Minnie the older one from us. She's is still an angel but a fallen one. She has been living like a human for almost three decades already. I'm not being disrespectful towards Minnie it's just it's how I really address her.

We were about to go when I felt another presence not far from us. I looked at the two and I know they also felt it. We hurriedly get out of the place not wanting to be in trouble again. "We look like prisoners right now." Minnie laughed so hard followed by Shuhua's laugh. I look at them weirdly.

"Running away from the police." Minni added which caused for me to laugh.
