Matt started to move in his sleep when he felt a pair of arms wrapped softly around him. Matt opened his eyes slightly to see a bit of white. After he collected his thoughts he opened his eyes fully to see that Asriel was snuggled up against him.
Matt: hmm.....how did I-
He started to think about how he had gotten into this situation and how Asriel comfort him when he needed it.
Matt: maybe I'm not alone in this world after all.
Matt was about to go back to sleep when all of a sudden his stomach growled. This act caused Asriel to jump awake and made Matt fall off the bed.
Asriel: what the heck was that?
Matt got up from the floor and was rubbing the back of his head.
Matt: *shy* sorry, that was my stomach
Asriel couldn't believe it but let it slide for now. Asriel started to stretch and look at Matt.
Asriel: so what are you making for breakfast today? I doubt that the Cooks won't be in the kitchen for a while.
Matt closed his eyes to come up with no ideas.
Matt: *shrug shoulders* I got nothing but I'll come up with something.
Asriel: hope so
Asriel then took Matt's hand and made their way to the kitchen. During the walk, Matt was on his phone trying to find a good enough breakfast for the two of them.
Matt: how about a basic Sausage, eggs, and toast breakfast? No too obvious. Maybe cereal....no that won't be enough to satisfy me, plus it's slightly cold outside......hmmm?
Asriel flicked Matt's forehead indicating that they made it to the kitchen.
Asriel: so, any ideas on what's for breakfast?
Matt: no unfortunately
Asriel: *sigh* just make something good.
Asriel then walked out of the kitchen as Matt was still trying to find something interesting to make. After about 30 seconds of searching, he found something easy to make.
Matt: 'Breakfast in a pan' huh? I'll make this, and it'll only take about forty minutes.
Matt then started to get out the materials he'll need and started cooking. About twenty-five minutes in, as Matt was putting it in two separate small pans, Asriel was peeking inside to see Matt was getting ready to put it in the oven. Asriel wasn't looking at the breakfast, he was looking at Matt when he wasn't paying attention. When Toriel told Asriel that Matt was getting his own room, he had no idea how to take it, he just brushed it off like he didn't care but he did.
About several minutes, their breakfast was done. Matt was feeling real proud of himself. This was a simple cooking task for him and now he doesn't feel like the food will taste bland like usual.
Matt: and..........done.
