Matt: but why did she tell me that dinner will be ready in 5 minutes then if she can't cook?
Asriel then flicked Matt on his forehead.
Asriel: don't be an idiot, my mom can cook, she just can't bake anything good is all, other then pies.
Matt was so confused about a mother who cannot bake and nobody's not stopping her, and why was Asriel is holding his hand while walking down the hallway. This has got to be the weirdest day that he had ever experienced. Matt looked at the hand that Asriel was holding.
Matt: so why are you holding my hand again?
Asriel looked at Matt dumbfound.
Asriel: cause I want to.
Matt was going to let it slide for right now, he wouldn't push it past Asriel to punish him in the hallway. When they reached the kitchen, Asriel let go of Matt's hand and Asgore was looking at the duo that entered the dining room.
Asgore: ahh there you two are.
Asriel sat at the end of the table with Matt sitting next to him.
Asriel: so is mom done baking in the kitchen yet?
Asgore: no, it shouldn't take that long before she's done. *looks at Matt* I expect that you are on your best behavior?
Matt just nods his head.
Asgore: That's too bad, I was looking forward to killing you with a single flame from my hand.
Asriel: uhh Dad, hasn't he been losing you guys for mostly a whole year while I caught him on my first try.
Asgore looked at Asriel harshly before calming down.
Asgore: I assure you son that when your guard is down he won't hesitate to escape when you're not looking.
Asriel: then that means he'll come with me everywhere then.
He then got close to Matt's ear and whispered
Asriel: *whispered* And I mean 'Everywhere~'
Matt was thinking about if karma was real at this point. I mean he did steal from these monsters, but he was only trying to help the others survive in the hunting grounds with very little resources they had. Just then Toriel came out with her practice dinner.
Toriel: forgive me for taking so long, well without further ado, I present to you all, a human casserole.
