After Dylan dropped me to his place, we went on a better first date. He took me bowling and then we went to the aquarium. It was so romantic; just walking around, holding hands, watching such colorful sea creatures float around, and it was beautiful. I never felt so close to him. I could hear his heart beating, and it was beating fast.

Since we did not find a three-bedroom house yet, I'm still bunking with Dylan and I feel bad about it, leaving my mom by herself now, but Mrs. Bartley will be there every day to help take care of my mom and my little brother or sister.
After arriving to Dylan's house really late, we decided it was time to go to sleep.

“Mya” I was kinda tired, but still amazed of our breathtaking date. How could you sleep after having the greatest date ever, even after the day your boyfriend's dad tried to kill you?

“Yeah Dyl?” I said my sleepy voice.

“Did I wake you?”

“No. I been up all night.”

“Oh, well before you fall asleep, I just wanted to tell you that I love you so much. I'm so lucky to be with a girl like you. You're so smart, gorgeous, sweet, determined, bold, supportive...”
He went on and on for about two more minutes. I was really trying to listen, but I was getting more tired and tired.

“It's been great spending spring break with you. Hopefully, it could be like this in the summer.”

“Yeah. Hopefully. But hey, I'm kinda tired, let’s finish this talk in the morning, okay?”

“Okay. Goodnight.”

“I love you Dylan Bartley.”

“I love you Mya Bartley.”

The next morning, I woke up to a plate of breakfast. Breakfast in bed, how romantic. This had Dylan written all over it.

“Good morning babe, special treatment for a special girl.”

“Aw babe, you're the greatest. You did not have to make me breakfast in bed? I was just about to get up.”

“Well it looks like I beat you to it. Hurry up and get dressed. There's one more thing I want to do with you before school starts Monday.”

Hard to believe spring break went by so fast. Two weeks of just love and happiness; well also chaos, but mostly love and happiness. After I ate my amazing breakfast, I hopped in the shower and got ready for this thing that Dylan wanted us to do before school starts again. I thought of millions of things that Dylan could be referring to, but I had no clue.

After I got done changing, Dylan took a look at what I was wearing, and didn't look satisfied.

“Mya, as beautiful as you look right now. You really don't have to get ‘glammed up’. Just wear some shorts and a tee. It could be an old tee for all I care, you'll look beautiful regardless.” He kissed my forehead and went downstairs to wait for me. Where could we be going?

About an hour later, we finally arrived at the place. It looked like a cliff, about forty feet off the ground, and at the bottom of the cliff, was just water. The water looked freezing cold and icy, which was something Dylan and I had in common, because we hated icy water, especially swimming in it. Dylan looked in my eyes and grabbed my hands.

“Mya, I want you to know that I love you very much. There is no other girl in the world that could ever replace you You're one of a kind, I think about you every second of the day, and when you told me that you had the same feeling for me, my heart almost exploded. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You mean so much to me, and because I love you so much...” He took off his shirt, and jumped right into the cold, icy water below.

I could not believe he did that. When we were little, he said never in his life would he ever swim in cold icy water, and if he did, he'd have to be dead first, and he meant what he said. He actually in the water for jumped into the water for me; that shows me that he really does love me. He meant every word he said. He wants to spend the rest of his life with me.

“Okay! Mya, if you feel the same way, jump in!” He said screaming from below. I could almost hear him shiver from up here.

“But Dylan I can't swim!”

“It doesn't matter, I'll be right here to protect you!” This dude was crazy. Not only did he want me to jump in from like forty feet up in the air, but into cold, icy water. But I did want to show him that I felt the same way, and this was the only way. I know I won't regret this, because years from now, if I didn't do this, I probably wouldn't be with him. Without any regret, I jumped. It was such a rush. And Dylan came swimming to my rescue, just to make sure I didn't drown.

“I love you so much Dylan.”

“I love you more. I'll always love you more.”
