The Interview

Today is the day of the interview, and I'm trying to not pass out or think of the fact that it's a TV interview that possibly millions will see. But that's kind of hard to do when I'm stood in the studio with Lake, cameras and bright lights everywhere as a constant reminder of that.

Lake reached over and grabbed my hand from the chair he was sat in as we awaited the interview, both of us already styled, which I hated, but did for Lake anyway.

My outfit is awful. Apparently, I give off a 'country chic' vibe which I think is a load of crap. I don't even know if 'country chic' is a thing or if they just invented it to make me look like a fool! I'm in a t-shirt with a cowboy riding a bucking bronco, some cuffed jeans with bright red shoes, and a freaking cowboy/girl hat!

Then there's Lake who gets to dress the way he normally does, in a comfy t-shirt and pants. I mean like, what the hell?! Why does he get to dress the way he normally does while I have to look like I hopped off of a damn horse?!

It's not even like it takes much to make him camera ready since he's so naturally appealing and is the epitome of sex appeal.

"Relax, Sweetness. I'll be there the entire time. Plus, you don't come out until near the very end so you won't be on for too long, so breathe for me, Sweetness," Lake said and I inhaled and exhaled slowly, nodding my head as I did as he said.

"Okay, I'm good," I said.

"Good," he said.

"Lake, you're needed onstage now. The interview will begin shortly," a member of the stage crew said after walking over to the area we were at that was off to the side of the stage.

Lake gave him a nod as he turned back to face me and gave me a sweet kiss.

"Love you, Sweetness. Stay near Griff, Bray, and Ky," he instructed.

"I will, and love you too," I said, and then he was hurried off to the stage while I walked over to Kyler, not wanting to be by myself since I knew I'd start to panic and freak out once again now that my safe haven was gone.
