"Today class we'll be looking at the tales and myths of the sea," your mythology teacher went on as you started to draw in your sketchbook knowing this would be a while. As much as you loved this class you dreaded how much your teacher talked about the topics you could just read about in your textbook. This whole week your teacher talked about mermaids, sirens, krakens, and now pirates, which you had already read a while ago.
It was currently Friday, and for the next two days you were free to go to the skate park. To you it was amusing how you were a creative writing and mythology major in college, yet you dressed like a skater girl with an attitude problem. But what most people didn't know about you was that you were a softy deep down, people just needed to get through the hard shell. The only one who knew of your softness was your best friend who also happened to be your boyfriend, Yeosang, the softest yet most intimidating skater boy you've ever met. He was a music and dance major. You and Yeosang had been childhood friends ever since he moved in next door, and your mother brought him and his family freshly baked cookies and welcomed them to the neighborhood. You being the 6 year old you were in your princess dress and crown, you did a little curtsy and introduced yourself; but Yeosang hid behind his mom's leg, you cocked your head to the side like a confused dog and apologized for scaring him, he just hid himself more as his mom giggled at you "don't worry your highness, Yeosang is just shy when it comes to new people or beautiful princesses." She told you as you noticed Yeosang's cheeks turn bright red, you looked up at the woman and smiled "that's ok," you looked back at Yeosang then looked back at your mom as you grabbed her hand and smiled.
You smiled to yourself as you recalled the day you both met, although you both didn't become friends till you beat up some bullies in the second grade for picking on him for being quiet. When you came back to your reality the lecture was nearly over and your drawing had been finished.
You began to put your stuff in your bag as you felt your phone vibrate in your pocket, you took it out seeing Yeosang had texted you, letting you know he was waiting for you outside your class. You smiled as you put your phone in your pocket. When the bell sounded you swung your bag over your shoulder and grabbed your skateboard. You walked out the lecture looking for Yeosang, grabbing his hand and headed to the school doors. "How was class princess?" "Boring like usual, I ended up zoning out half way through it," " what were you thinking about?" "How we met, and how adorable my prince was when we were kids with your cute little red cheeks." You said teasing him slightly knowing that it'd make him embarrassed at the memory of his own shyness, noticing how he looked down at the floor and stopped walking, you smiled at him and walked to his side, standing on your tip toes and kissed his birthmark. It was your favorite spot to peck, he always was self conscious about it but you loved it. "I hate when you bring that day up" "oh boo hoo Yeosang it's my favorite memory, it was the day I met my knight in shining armor." Yeosang couldn't take your cuteness anymore and grabbed you by the waist with his right arm, pulling you into a kiss. You smiled as you separated "you're my happily ever after Yeosang" "and you are mine Y/N." Yeosang said as he rested his forehead against yours with both your eyes closed "don't ever forget that, my queen." You both stood there savoring the moment. That is till you heard a hyena screaming as it ran down the halls with a minion on his tail. You and Yeosang had looked at one another and started laughing "I guess Wooyoung did something again" you pointed to the rest of your friends as they ran after the other two, you sighed as it was yours and Yeosang's que to hop on your boards and follow the boys. Avoiding anybody in the way as you both yelled for people to move. This was an everyday occurance, Wooyoung running away from one of the others, squealing down the hall. You didn't mind it though, they were your happy place, your home. What did kinda suck was having to live with them as they liked to throw parties.
