like any other night i work, i'm dancing and collecting tips as i go. the frequent customer i learned is manolo is throwing cash at me, as usual. the one difference is a familiar face i seen in the audience.

mike, my brother. when it was another girl's turn i went to go greet him. i knew he worked for my employer, but i haven't seen him here in a long time.

"hey mike!" i squealed giving him a hug.
"hey candy." he said hugging back. he calls me candy at the club so nobody finds out my real name.

"hey, no dating coworkers." kobe said.

kobe is the boss who has a strict rule about dating people inside the job. he's always watching me like a hawk, not even caring to notice that mike's my brother.

"sorry boss, but he's my brother. we're not dating." i informed him respectfully.
"but you done have the same last names, chong and smoak." he replied.
"mike is my half brother. i get my name from my dad and him from his." i explained and he nodded.
"as you were" he said before walking off.

"is he always on you like that?" mike asked.
"yes and i don't know why." i groaned.

"anyways, you have to introduce me to that cherry girl." mike said emphasizing 'have'
"you seen how mad he got and you're my brother, i'm not helping you." i said with my hands in defense.

"please just tell her to come talk to me. if kobe finds out i'll tell him it's all me." he reassured me.
"ok bet." i nodded going to the back where the girls were.

"chanel, your favorite customer is back and wants to talk to you." i sing-songed referring to mike.
she squealed and headed out.

i went back out to start dancing again when one of the workers told me i had been booked for a private room.

my friend liliana replaced me as i went to one of the rooms. imagine my surprise to see manolo. *note the sarcasm*

"hey manolo" i smiled walking towards him.
"you know the rules, no touching just watch." i said.

i then began to dance and twerk a little bit. he just sat there and admired the show.

"times up!" the worker said knocking on the door.
"hey" manolo asked and i turned around.
"has that camera always been there?" he asked.

"no, what the fuck" i exclaimed.
"thanks for the dance" he said slipping $200 in my bra before leaving.
