"OH. Well this is embarrassing, I thought you all knew. Kyra died." the words seemed to echo throughout the room, bouncing off all the walls and hitting everyone like rapid fire, except me. I sat still on the couch, composed. I would include that I was calm but everyone else appeared calm, but I could tell they were all panicking in their skulls.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN KYRA DIED" lace finally broke what was becoming an awkward silence.

"I mean what I said, Kyra died, for a couple of hours actually" Allura calmly spoke. It was apparent that she had already come to terms with what they all thought was shocking news. I nodded in agreement with Allura's statement.

"WHY ARE YOU AGREEING? YOU DIED? THAT'S NOT OKAY!" Pidge was now the one screaming. I was confused.

"What's wrong, why are you confused?" Keith spoke softly, not because he was calm, but because he's naturally quiet when he's not irritated. I grabbed a pen and notepad (one of the many sets that started appearing around the castle since I joined the group) from the table.

'Are you guys saying you've never died before?' I wrote out.

"Well... Uh... no? I mean I've died before but that doesn't mean it's a good thing. Very few people survive dying, you know that right???" Shiro spoke with his hand holding the back of his neck like he was embarrassed.

'Well maybe? I don't know I've never really thought about the people that stay dead? I guess I just thought they gave up fighting to live' I managed to scribble out.

"You've never thought about it? People don't get a choice if they stay dead!" Hunk spoke now. I was able to see, and I could practically feel, the shock of the others around me.

'Oh...' I didn't know that, I thought most people chose whether they could live or die. I guess only I can do that? Now everyone, including me, was sitting in silence. It seemed to take us all an unnecessary amount of time to comprehend what just happened.

"Um... well on that note, I think it's about lunchtime, I find that food always helps process major information" Hunk said.

"I couldn't have said it better myself young paladin" Coran spoke for the first time in this meeting.

"Hunk you just want food" Lance joked

"True but I'm sure you guys are hungry too" he pointed out.

"Can't argue with that" Shiro said, getting up from the couch.

The rest of us followed behind him, I fell in line next to Kuro. We were both in comfortable silence, until Lance happened to walkup.

"So..." Lances eyes very obviously darted between the two of us "you guys look like you could use something interesting? So how about you two do some space goo shots together, just like Jello shots, but-"
"LANCE, that enough" Keith finally spoke up against Lance's need to make every interaction sexual.

"Sorry" Lance softly spoke "I took it too far" he quietly fell in line next to Keith. I looked between the two. Their sexual tension could practically be cut with a knife. That's when I remembered the earth artifact that pidge had given me. I dug around in my pocket until my hands landed on the small, stiff, paper-board piece. An evil grin found its way onto my lips as I slightly sped up in front of them. They both stopped so they wouldn't bump into me, and looked at me with confusion, my evil grin still plastered on my face. I handed them the small card from my hands.

"Uno reverse bitch" Keith read allowed before it hit him. I just handed them an uno reverse card. I have to admit, I don't actually know what an Uno is, or why pidge wrote that on it, but she said to use it whenever you want to flip a situation back on a person. Keith and lance's faces started turning pink, and lance tried to worm his way out of the hallway. Pidge had turned around and heard the conversation, she was now crying while rolling on the floor laughing.

"What's an Uno?" Allura asked, I shrugged.

"Lance where are you going? You're supposed to have lunch with us?" Hunks voice boomed throughout the hall. Lance's face flushed red from the sudden increase in attention on him. He mumbled out some noise as he fell into the group again, but this time avoiding Keith.

Lunch was silent, but it wasn't awkward. Well, it wasn't awkward for us, Keith and Lance could barely look anywhere other than their food. With my stomach being filled I soon felt sleepy. I'm not quite sure how but I wound up leaning on Kuro and halfway asleep.

"Aww look! I think she's drooling." Lance said in a tone that you would use to talk to a child. That's when my half asleep arms lifted up and did the sign language thing that Keith taught me. Keith said it means 'shut up' or 'go away', but I think he called the motion 'flipping someone off'.

"WHERE DID YOU LEARN THAT" Lance screeched. Keith snorted, barely able to keep from choking on his food. "YOU!" Lance jumped up and pointed straight at Keith, his fingers barely brushing Keith's nose. Keith sneezed. Lance then turned to me "don't do that it means fu- or uh... quiznack off" he stuttered through his words. It was my turn to sit up. I looked surprised, my face clearly expressed 'OH...". Then I proceeded to flip him off again.

"Really?" Lance sounded defeated. I thought for a moment mulling it over, then proceeded to shake my head yes. Now everyone was laughing again. I was happy to be home.

But unfortunately the Galra battle ship headed our way didn't care about that.
