Rosie's POV

“Yes, it is.”

“No, it isn’t.”

“It’s practically a miniature microphone,” jennie tried to convince me, but i wasn’t letting up.

“The stethoscope is used to listen to your heartbeat, intestines, lung, heck, even blood flow in your veins or arteries,” i chuckled at this little debate that the both of us were having.
“If I screamed in the little circle thingy, you would hear some noise through the earpiece, yes?”

“You mean the bell and diaphragm and I would hear it but-,” jennie interrupted me and said, “I’m right.”
To save this ‘argument’ from continuing, i agreed with her. The two of us continued to talk on the phone until lisa came in and asked, “Do you want to play cops and robbers with us?” jennie told her that she’ll be there in a minute, “I-”, she started but i didn’t let her finish.
“Go have fun. I love you jennie~,” i made little kissing noises in the phone, she reciprocated and said goodbye.

In the living room, each one of them was split up into teams: the unnie line as the robbers and the maknae line, including Lisa, as the cops. Play with the toy guns, they said. It will be fun, they said. It was all fun and games until jisoo accidentally shot jennie in the eye, causing her trip over the rug. By trying to brace herself for impact, jennie landed on her wrist the wrong way. The girls winced, while jisoi quickly rushed over to her, “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to,” she quickly said, yet they could tell that she was worried. While trying to comfort the younger one, jennie asked for her phone to dial my number.

“Wow, you got eliminated that quick,” i joked, jennie would have laughed but she was in too much pain.
“Do you have any patients right now,” i could tell that there was something wrong by how quiet her voice sounded. “No, is everything okay? Or do you want to tell me when you get here,” i suggested, not wanting her to feel pressured.

“Yeah. I’m on my way,” the girls took that as a sign and gathered their things to ride to the clinic with jennie .
“Alright, be safe and I love you,” jennie immediately started to blush. It wasn’t like we haven’t said it before, it was just that she has never said it in front of the girls before. She whispered it into the speaker, and unfortunately for her, it did not go unnoticed by Lisa and Jisoo. The both of them refused to wipe off the smirks on their faces. Jennie could feel their eyes on her, but she refused to look up.

It’s not that they didn’t know who i was, jennie would always show them pictures of me and talked about me nonstop, but they never met me face to face due to my hectic schedule. As soon as she told them about me, they wanted to meet the person who finally captured Jennie's heart. From what jennue has told them, i was quiet and reserved at first, but as she got to know me better, i became a whole new person in the best way possible. I was much more affectionate and even when the two of us were in public, i didn’t shy away from letting others know that i was with her. It was always “my girlfriend”, “my love”, and sometimes, “babygirl”. Regardless of what cute name that i called her, it made the butterflies in her stomach flutter every single time.

Stepping inside the clinic, the girls were hit with a scent that was as if someone had hand sanitizer and dosed every inch of the building. My coworkers were able to point out and recognize jennie from her frequent visits, whether it was for lunch or just to see me do what you do best. I came out from the back and saw jennie delicately holding her wrist. I gave her a soft smile, however, they tripled in size when i saw the rest of the members behind her. Meeting them was something that you always wanted to do, but not like this.

“Hello, my name is Dr. Park. What seems to be the issue,” it took everything in me to not hug jennie and shower her with care and affection. Jennie sniffled,
“I think I broke my wrist,” i instantly took them towards a room to get a better look at it.

At first glance and examination, her wrist didn’t look broken but just to be safe, i sent jennie off with a radiographer to get a better look at it. I kind of wish that i went her because now i was stuck in a room with two curious women. While i was typing in a prescription for jennie’s pain and discomfort, jisii began,
“So you’re the Rosie, jennie won’t shut up about?” i looked down at my lap, all of a sudden being bashful. Jennie was my first serious relationship, so to know that she talks about me, made me feel like i was on cloud nine.

“Yes, that would be me,” i tried to look back at them, but they were eying me hard. “How did the two of you meet,” Lisa gave me comforting smile.

“We were at the park and she was walking Kuma, ”i started to chuckle,
“his leash got wrapped up around the tree and when trying to get it untangled, she scraped her knee against the tree. And luckily, I had a Monster’s Inc. bandaid. We sat there and talked for hours and watched the sunset.” i grinned at the fond memory,
“Ever since then, we talked for about nine months and it turned into dating for a year and counting.” When i looked at them, they had an “aww” type of expression. They could see how much i love jennie just by the way your eyes lit up and how i couldn’t wipe the smile off of my face. Just by that, they already knew that she was in good hands.

After that whole exchange, jennie finally came back with the radiographer and the x-ray results. While trying to analyze the x-rays, jennie gently held my hand as she tried to look at it herself. I found her little stare to be adorable, and if her members weren’t in the room, i would have kissed her right then and there. I turned to her and spoke while putting on the brace, “Thankfully, your wrist isn’t broken, just sprained. There will be some swelling and redness, but you are going to have to wear this brace and no crazy lifting with it okay, love.” i didn’t even notice that that word slipped out, i was more concerned about her and her safety. She nodded her head and began to blush while the girls tried not to laugh at our interaction. Jennie gave them a look as if she wanted them to give her privacy.

Finally catching the hint, they got up and left, “No funny business,” Lisa made sure she looked at me directly in the eye and followed the rest of them.

I huffed out a breath that i didn’t know that i was holding,
“Well that wasn’t nerve-wracking at all.” i held jennie close to me for comfort,
“I’m sorry that you had to meet like this,” i waved my hand dismissively, letting know that it was fine.
“My love was in pain so it didn’t matter,” i kissed her softly. When i pulled back, i could see that she was trying not to pout, wanting the kiss to have had lasted longer. I shook my head, went in my candy drawer, and gave her a lollipop. Her face immediately brightened and she awarded me with a kiss.

My little moment was interrupted when a coworker informed me that a child was not cooperating when getting shots. Jennie held you tighter,
"Jennie, I have to go," i tried to pry myself from her, and eventually, she gave in. She held my hand up until it was time for them to leave,
“I love you,” jennie stated with full sincerity. With a loving stare, i said
“I love you too Don’t forget to pick up your prescription.” As they all piled up into the van, waved them goodbye and blew jennie a kiss. They didn’t need to have the windows down for you to know that they were going to tease her.

I stuffed my hands in your pockets and walked back inside with a little pep in my step.
“And you, Dr. Park, are absolutely whipped,” my coworkers made fun of me and all i could do is nod, knowing that they were right.
