Date Night

Jennie's POV

So i have been crushing on Chaeyoung for a very long time, since high school. I still rememeber the day she came up to me on the first day of college,
"Hey! We went to the same high school right?" I swear my heart stopped beating and just stared at her, she fucking noticed me, she fucking noticed me.
"I see we haven't intruduced ourselves yet," she nervously chuckled,
"I'm Chaeyoung, but you can call me Chae." I know, "I-Im Jennie."

"Jennie," she smiled, "Nice to meet you, Jennie."

Then after deciding that the two of us should become roommates, i suprisingly have gotten really close with each other.

It's been almost a year now, time flew so fast and i was so grateful to be friends with her. But i still can't ignore that fact that i still like her, i tried to ignore it, it might be best this way.

Then she invited me to go to the cinemas with her later night,
"So a date?" i jokingly teased, feeling a little bold. "Maybe it is a date," she smirked. Nevermind, i swear i can feel my cheeks heating up, fuck, and Chae noticed it too,
"Why do you look so flustered," she leaned forward and giggled,
"You were the one who said it was a date." i can't help but to cover my flustered face with my palms.

And there i am, the both of us just finished watching, well no,  we actually got out early since Chae decided that it was a good idea to watch a horror film. "Oh come on, I can do this Jennie, I'm not a little child!" And after half an hour she already wanted to leave and has been tearing up for the past few minutes. "See, I told you," i sighed.
"Well, I didnt know its going to be that scary! Fuck, now I'm embarrased," she laughed while wiping her tears off her eyes. I stepped closer and brought. Yhand up to her cheeks to wipe that last tear in her eyes, "Alright, do you wan't to go eat some streetfoods?"

So we walked together hand in hand looking for stalls until she found a food market near by, "THERE!"

After trying different kinds of food and desserts, the two of us saw an empty park and decided to stay there. Chae ran and giggled. "Hey! Wait for me!" i tried to catch up to her. We then stopped in the middle of park, heavily breathing.

"It's really cold and quiet out here,"  she said and i nodded to agree, it is really cold and quiet. I looked around and saw nobody around, exept the two of us. Maybe because it was already midnight.

"I like it," she smiled, "come on! Lets dance!"

She grabbed both of my arms and i was suprise, she spun the both of us around. We started giggling and messing around the park, both enjoying each other's company. And i can't help but to admire her more, her laughter and smiles, everything about her makes my heart flutter even more.

Then i was deciding if i should confess today, this might be the best time for me to tell her. After all, the both of us are enjoying being with each other right now. But what if she decided to stop our friendship after this? I dont want this moment to end. A lot of what if's came to my head. But my guts told me to tell her. Should i trust my guts?

So i decided to risk our friendship to tell my feelings about her, but

"Chae!"

"Yeah?"

"I think I like you! There is just something about you that made me madly inlove with you and im sorry if it will-"

"Jennie!"

"Y-yes?"

"I like you too!"
