Make Up

Rosé's POV

"Oh go to hell Jennie," I shouted in rage, turning to walk away from her

"Not before you." She crossed her arms, following me out of our living room following me up to the bedroom.

"I don't see why you would get jealous of my best friend for fuck sake. I'm dating you not Lisa."

"I don't like how close the two of you are."

"Stop being a possessive cow, Jennie. If I wanted her do you really think I'd still be here with you?"

Jennie stayed quiet, just staring me. Completely silent. I could even hear a pin drop.

She had just proved my point, it wouldn't make sense for me to stay with her if my intentions were bad. I had known Lisa for far too long to get into a relationship with her and not to mention she is straight and well I'm not.

"You can go sleep on the couch if you're gonna keep it up." I picked up a pillow and a blanket and tossed it at her before slamming the door.

No doubt was Jennie in the wrong. She needed to make up to Chaeyoung and fast. Make her forgive her. What she had said was out of line and she even knew that. But the anger had driven her beyond the point. She began to plan the idea as she lay on her back. As she looked up the ingredients she'd need to make kimchi stew and a range of food that she enjoys because she knew that the way into Chaeyoung's heart is through her stomach.

I rolled over to find the left-hand side of the bed was cold, Jennie was committed to staying downstairs. I let out a deep sigh before getting out of bed for the early practice for their Japan debut. After I finished getting ready for my long day, I reached the bottom of the stairs and into the living room. And there and behold lay Jennie is in probably the most uncomfortable position. Walking closer to her sleeping body, I noticed the drool on the side of her face. I let out a slight chuckle as I wiped it away.

Picking up my bag, I left the house in a hurry to get to the studio.

As I sat in the taxi on the way back home, thinking about how the atmosphere would be. Would it be awkward? Will it be another argument? Will it be worst than before?

"Ma'am, we're here." The taxi driver announced turning back to the young girl that sat in his taxi in a daze.

"Oh thank you." As she handed him the money which was ₩22,000 from Mapo-gu where YG is located to Gangnam-gu where she lives.

As she got out the taxi and approached her front door, she could already smell the food that had been prepared. Fishing her keys out of her bag, she unlocked the door, announcing her presence.

Jennie came out the kitchen slightly flush holding a tea towel over her wrist which caused Chaeyoung to rush over.

"Yah, what happened?" Her voice leaked with authority as she snatched the tea towel away from her hand.

"I just burnt myself, nothing too bad." Jennie shrugged.

She huffed in disbelief.

"Nothing too bad? Jennie you burnt yourself and you call that nothing too bad." Chaeyoung nagged as she dragged her carefully towards the kitchen sink. Running the burnt arm under cold water.

Jennie could help stare at her as she fussed over her arm, Chaeyoung cared. The jealously that crept and sat in her bones began to dissolve. She didn’t need to be worried.

“Can you hear me Jennie?” Chaeyoung questioned, waving a hand in her face.

Jennie blinked, looking to Chaeyoung’s eyes that held nothing but worry. Jennie nodded.

“What were you even thinking about to burn yourself?” She yelled frustrated. Jennie felt like a small child that was been scolded but all she wanted was to make up to Chaeyoung for her stupid and childish actions towards her friendship with Lisa.

“I just wanted to apologise for my actions last night and how I embarrassed you in front of everyone at the company at that party. So I wanted to make it up to you by making your favourite food and well this happened.”

“I appreciate your efforts and I can’t believe you made all of this from scratch, but if you do have any problems, just let me know. Don’t cause a scene alright, we can easily talk it out.”

Jennie nodded once again,

“Come on, let’s set the table and eat this amazing feast that I have prepared for the two of us.”
