First Kiss

The sun was peeking over the horizon as Jennie stood where the tide kissed the shore. The sky was illuminated with an orange blaze as the sun began to set. Rosé’s hair blew in the slight breeze and she wrapped her jacket a little closer, the breeze feeling chilly. She looked at Jennie nervously, as she looked back into her beautiful, round eyes, and jennie felt something stir inside her.

Over the past few weeks, Jennie and Rosé has been on a serious of dates and each one had stirred something intense inside jennie chest and stomach. The butterflies swimming furiously in jennie's stomach never ceased, even when she wasn’t with Rosé, and her heart beat uncontrollably around rosie.

She looked nervous, and it made jennie wonder what she was thinking about. Her eyebrows knitted together as she looked out to sea, deep in thought. “What are you thinking about?” jennie asked, drawing her attention to jennie. “This moment,” she sighed dreamily, which led you to pull her closer.
“Do you think, possibly, I can kiss you?” jennie asked, scratching the nape of her neck anxiously. With the other hand that wasn’t scratching the nape of her neck, she held Rosé’s hand, fingers intertwined.

Rosé smiled a toothy grin when she heard what jennie said, which she took as a go ahead. Stepping toward her, jennie took both her hands in hers. Rosé was terrified for her first kiss with jennie. She had had first kissed before, but many were drunken mistakes and she’d never felt so strongly about someone she’d kissed before.

She began to lean forward, as did jennie, and soon they met in a soft but firm kiss. Jennie moved her hands up to the side of her face and held it gently as her hands ghosted her hips before settling on Rosé's waist. Jennie felt her heart beating wildly, fireworks exploding in her mind. Jennie was the first to pull away, desperate to see Rosé’s face again. “Wow,” she breathed. She rested her forehead against Rosé' s, smiling like an idiot. “I don’t know why I was so nervous,” she said.
