Piece of you pt 2

7 weeks later

I knew I was pregnant. After the car shenanigans? There was no way I wouldnt be. I had all the symptoms, no period, morning sickness, my hormone levels being like out of the universe somewhere. You know, the typical. I told Bucky what was happening and he was more than willing to go with me to the store to get a couple tests. We were waiting for them to come up with an answer which seemed like the longest minutes of our lives. We took four just to make make make sure sure. I was worried it would be an odd number like three positive and one negative.

"How much longer? Is it ready yet?" He asked me impatiently making me giggled and become very slightly annoyed. I was experiencing all the period symptoms just not the blood and cramps.
"Come here," I held out my hand and he took hold of it.
"Okay times up." We each had two tests to read them, both of mine turned up positive... so did Bucky's.
"Oh my god, we're gonna be parents doll!" Bucky excitedly said and pulled me into a strong hug.
"A little baby avenger!!" I smiled at him.

This was the appointment that would determine the gender and see how the little solider was doing, how healthy it is and if its growing normally.
"Do you have names picked out?" The doctor said as she looked at my chart that had just come back.
"We only have a few for each gender in mind but we're still deciding."
They had started prepping the ultrasound and the screen popped on, I was watching it intensely.
"Well, you're gonna have four to name." Bucky spat his water out, I swear it was record breaking how far it went; and it also somehow found the way up his nose making him cough.
"W-what?" He choked out once he regained himself.
"Congratulations, you two are having quadruples!" The doctor smiled and Bucky and I just looked at each other.

"Theres one... two... three... and four." She pointed to the four blobs on the screen.
"Genders?" I asked,
"As of the moment they're all girls to be the looks of it. But as science says, everyone starts out as females and some progress into boys." (Fun fact:thats y men have nipples) Bucky was now by my side holding my hand. It had been a bit since we were here for a check up, we tried to be here but our jobs kind of got in the way. I could never go alone because neither I or Bucky wanted him to miss out on this.

"We're having quadruples?! Four babies? At once?" Bucky questioned dumbfounded.
"Yes, it'll be so much fun!!!" I told him.
"I never thought this would happen to me. Like it's amazing enough im having one but three more at the exact same time?! That's amazing! I cant believe it." He sat down in a chair near me.
"My god we're both gonna be full time parents." He said, it looked like he was about to be sick.

"Are we gonna tell the others?" I asked and he shrugged.
"Lets see how long it takes them to noticed the four basinets or the amount of supplies, plus your belly is going to be bigger than just one baby."
"I already cant wait to hold them." I smiled, rubbing my belly while we both laid in bed, having a movie marathon. Bucky's hand felt my belly and he placed four kisses on my skin for the babies.
"Hey little ones it's daddy and we cant wait to meet you. We already love you more than anything and you're gonna have so many aunts and uncles. And be spoiled by everyone." He said which made me smile because I knew all of it was true.

"Awe this is so cute look at this!" I whined showing it to Bucky, it was a set of four stuffed animals. A hippo, elephant, lion and a zebra. We had been secretly stocking up and buying things for the babies and to finish the little nursery corner/wall in Bucky and I's room. So far no one has said anything to either of us so we dont think they've noticed. We had found out the genders and it was literally so perfect, two boys and two girls. They were going to be so spoiled, especially when the team found out.

We tried to make each bassinet gender neutral and we tried to assign a color to each baby partly so we didnt get them mixed up. Of course this would happen to us because the quadruplets are going to be identical all to each other we were told. So the boys are aqua and white while the girls are coral and yellow. We didnt want to do typical colors like blue red green and orange or something like that.
