A/N
Hey peeps! So I decided to update again this week to make up for all the days I've missed. You're welcome. Anyways, this chapter is kind of a filler chapter and those of you who are curious as to who Madison is, you will finally find out in this chapter. Also, please remember to comment, fan, vote, etc and remember to always keep writing.

“Madison?” I asked the disbelief clear in my tone.
“I’m sorry about showing up out of the blue like this,” She said as she wiped her eyes with her sleeves. For the first time since she arrived I really took the time to look at her. Her normally bright green eyes were dull and lifeless and the bags under her eyes made her look older than she actually was. I also noticed the beginning of a bruise forming on her wrist and neck which she tried to cover with a blue scarf and countless numbers of bracelets. I felt the tears begin to form in the corners of my eyes as the realization of why she was here finally hit home. He had hit her again.
“It happened again, didn’t it?” I asked her, balling up my fists and restraining myself from punching the nearest object I could find. I watched as the tears started to fall down her face as she hung her head in shame and nodded limply.
“He just lost it and I…..I…..” She said as she broke out into violent sobs that racked her whole body. I hated seeing her like this, so broken and lifeless, it broke my heart to see something so horrible and cruel happen to someone as gentle and fragile as her.
“Shhh, it’s ok Madison, you’re safe now,” I said as I pulled her into a hug and rubbed soothing circles on her back. “I won’t let him lay another one of his filthy hands on you again,” I said, meaning every word that came out of my mouth.
“Would it be alright if I stayed here a while?” She asked, her voice breaking on the last word.
“Of course, you’re family Madison and family always sticks together,” I said as I ran my fingers over her hair in a soothing manner. “You stay as long as you need to okay?” I asked as I pulled away to look her in the eyes.
“Thanks Sophie, you’re the best cousin I could ever ask for,” She said as she gave me a shy smile and wiped the tears from her eyes.
“You know you’re always welcome here,” I said as I gave her a friendly smile and threw my arm around her shoulder.
“Come on, let’s get you unpacked and ready to move into the guest room,” I said, trying to lighten the mood. She gave me a genuine smile as she picked up her bags from off the ground and uncertainly made her way into the house.
“Hey Sophie! Who was that at the door?” I heard Harry ask as he rounded the kitchen corner with a sandwich in his mouth.
“Harry this is my cousin Madison, Madison this is Harry Styles,” I said as Harry stopped dead in his tracks and gaped at Madison, a piece of his sandwich falling out of his mouth.
“Madison?” He asked, recognition flashing across his handsome features.
“Hi Harry,” Madison said as she looked at anything but him. I saw hurt flash across his features before he plastered on a fake smile and acted as if what just happened hadn’t affected him in the slightest.
“Wait, you two know each other?” I asked confusion evident in my voice.
“That was years ago and was frankly a big mistake,” Madison said as Harry’s face fell and his eyes glazed over with heartbreak. “I’ve got to go, I’ll talk to you later Sophie?” Madison asked as she practically ran out of the room. For a moment a saw an expression like guilt cross over her beautiful features before it was gone in an instant and replaced with a blank expression.
“Yeah sure,” I said, still trying to wrap my mind around what just happened a moment ago.
I heard the slam of the door echo throughout the room as Harry stood staring longingly at the place where Madison had previously been standing. I was about to ask him what that was all about when he abruptly cut me off and said “I’ll see you later Soph,” before he sulked out of the room and slammed the front door. I stared at the place where Harry had previously been standing, wondering what on Earth all of that had been about.

Madison’s POV
I never thought I would see him again, never thought I would see his mesmerizing green eyes that I could stare at for hours and find myself getting lost in. Never thought I would see his smile with his adorable dimples that would make my heart stop every time he smiled at me in that cheeky way of his. Never thought I would see his face, filled with the love he once held for me. Never thought I would see those lips, which had once told me he loved me and that had made what in the end had been empty promises. I slid down the wall as the memories involuntarily came flooding back.
Our first meeting, our first date, our first kiss, the first time he told me he loved me. But the memory that was as clear as day was the day I found out he was cheating on me with another girl. The day I told him to stay out of my life forever, the day I told him I hated him and never wanted to speak to him again. The day he walked out of my life forever and took a piece of my heart along with him. I closed my eyes as a single tear escaped the corner of my eye and slid down my cheek.
I angrily wiped the tear away and reminded myself to stay strong. I had cried enough tears over the gorgeous curly haired boy and he was wrong to think that I would forgive him after what he had done. Never would I shed another tear over Harry Styles, I told myself. He was a ruthless player who had used me to get what he wanted and when he got what he wanted from me he dumped me like all those times had meant nothing to him. I angrily pushed myself off the ground and spent the rest of my time unpacking my bags, convincing myself that I didn’t need the curly haired boy who had stolen my heart.

Harry’s POV
Seeing Madison again brought back the familiar feelings of wanting and longing that I had been feeling ever since I walked out of her life 2 years ago. She still looked as gorgeous as she did the day I first saw her with her long, dark brown hair that curled at the ends, her beautiful green eyes that reminded me of why I loved her and her breathtaking smile that filled my stomach with butterflies. She had been the first girl I had ever loved and she is still the only girl I will ever truly love. Sure I’d had a couple of flings after we’d broken up but they’d never made a lasting impression on me like Madison had. I’d mostly only done it to convince myself I needed to move on and to show the lads that I didn’t mop around all day wondering what could’ve been if I hadn’t made that one stupid mistake.
I’d never forget the look on her face when she found me with that other girl. The way her face seemed to sink in on itself and her eyes filled with so much pain that I looked like she had just witnessed the death of a loved one. The face that had haunted me all these years and had never left my mind since that day. I know I needed to make things right with her but I was scared about how she would react. I couldn’t ignore the feeling of hurt that washed over me when she ignored me this morning and said that every touch, every kiss, every memory of us had all been one huge mistake.
A rush of determination shot through my body as I knew what I needed to do if I wanted to get her back. I would walk to the ends of the earth for her and I wasn’t going to let anything stop me from winning back her heart. I pushed myself off my bed and went downstairs all the while thinking of ways to get her to love me like she had loved me 2 years ago.
