Taehyung's arms were tightly wrapped around my body when I woke up in the middle of the night as I got a sudden urge to pee. I got up, unintentionally disturbing Taehyung from his sleep. He groaned and simply turned on the other side of the bed.
I entered the washroom and finally relieved myself. As I was going back, the room's door slightly creaked open. It was because of the wind, as we had left the window open. I closed the window first and then approached to close the door too. But when I reached there I saw an odd cabinet near it.
Me, being a very curious person opened the cabinet and saw a very old book called 'DYYBUK'. The cover was rough and hard, while the pages were smooth with some black markings over them. I've heard about them, and Dybbuks are nothing but a mythological creature in Jewish mythology. I decided to read it as I wasn't feeling sleepy. When I approached my bed I heard some noises from outside of the cabin.
I quickly opened the window and saw Clyde moving in the woods near the cemetery. But, I saw something peculiar on his body. A kind of protuberance from his back. I hurriedly closed the windows and sat on the bed, reassuring myself that I was just being delusional. I started reading the book and I got more and more engrossed in it.
The night deepened, my eyes never left those pages and I solved every question that I had in mind.

Author's P.O.VRain hammered on the cabin windows like the relentless drumming of nails. The atmosphere became much more chilly than before and everyone wore warm coats over their yesterday's dirty clothes, except Y/N and Rachael who had brought clothes with them. Y/N spent most of the night reading that book and she got so intrigued that she barely slept. When she finally woke up after maybe a 4 hours sleep she went downstairs with Taehyung to tell everyone what she had in mind.
Jimin and Jungkook were in the kitchen, preparing some sandwiches for breakfast. They surprisingly got the sufficient stuff in the cabin itself. Rachael was helping Cole in redressing his wound. While Jungkook was cutting cucumbers for the sandwiches, he told Jimin to put some cheese.
Jimin, not being the best at cooking put the cheese slice on the bread without removing the plastic from it. Jungkook gave a very frustrated look to him and bitterly said, "Remove the plastic, idiot."
Jimin gave him an apologetic look and removed the plastic from the cheese slice. The sandwiches were ready in no time and all of them started eating it. When everyone was done, Y/N went back to that room and brought the book.
"I have to tell you all something. Buckle up, it's gonna be long." She said and opened the book.
"Ever heard of Dybbuks?" She asked and everyone gave perplexed looks except Cole. "Yeah, a Dybbuk is a malicious possessing spirit believed to be the dislocated soul of a dead person in Jewish mythology." Cole stated.
"Correct." Y/N answered. "How are Dybbuks any of our concern right now?" Taehyung asked and started ruffling his hair. "I'm getting to it..." Y/N paused.
"I...I saw this book last night when I woke up. I decided to read it and I got to know why Clyde took Cole's sister and why we are locked up in here." She continued. Heavy breaths escaped from each one's mouth along with the small pitter patter of the rain.
Y/N flipped some pages and stopped on a certain one. " ' Dybbuk, in Jewish folklore, a disembodied human spirit that, because of former sins, wanders restlessly until it finds a haven in the body of a living person. Belief in such spirits was especially prevalent in 16th–17th-century eastern Europe. Often individuals suffering from nervous or mental disorders were taken to a miracle-working rabbi (baʿal shem), who alone, it was believed, could expel the harmful dybbuk through a religious rite of exorcism.'" Y/N read.
