Terror. That's how I would describe the situation with one word, which we were in. I saw the bulge in his back, exactly how it was mentioned in the book. Clyde was breathing heavily with a knife in his hand.

Jungkook quickly grabbed a chair, started to tie Clyde up with the help of Taehyung and Jimin. In that process, we didn't notice Clyde taking out a syringe from his pocket and injecting it through Jimin's neck. It was only after Jimin screamed in agony and we got to know about it.

Clyde started yelling at us and told us to free him. Jimin fell on the floor, laying unconscious. "What did you inject in him?!" Rachael screeched. "He just fainted. He'll be conscious soon. Don't overreact." Clyde said calmly.

Rachael was about to argue back but stopped. "We need to ask you some questions." I told Clyde. "Fine. Go ahead." He replied.

"Did you kidnap Serena?" Rachael asked. "Not exactly. It was...it was Chrysus." Clyde answered. "The dybbuk?" Taehyung interrogated. Clyde simply nodded in response. "I-Is she dead?" Cole asked.

But before Clyde could reply Jimin started rolling on the floor. He stood up so rapidly as if he had a shock. He smirked crazily towards us and a frown appeared on our faces. "Be that as it may, still it may be as it may be." Jimin slurred. "Is he drunk or something?" Jungkook said.

"Are you sure you injected him something that would make him unconscious for a while and not make him act crazy?" I asked. "Oh crap, I think I injected something wrong. This syringe was kept near the fainting one. I must've brought the wrong one. But no need to worry, neither of them would make him die." Clyde said with an apologetic smile.

"I'm sorry. I never asked for this to ever happen. I did like Serena. I clicked pictures of her. I knew you guys had found out about it. But it was never my intention to kidnap her and k-ki....kill her." Clyde muttered. Cole whimpered and a few tears escaped from his eyes.

We stared asking him questions along with Jimin's occasional statements. "What about that day in the library? Were you there?" I asked, remembering the time where I thought I'd die in the library after the old lady's funeral.

"So let it be written; let it be done."

"Yes, I was. I saw you. I knew you all were trying to find the person who kidnapped Serena. I wasn't possessed at that time. I just wanted to tell you guys that it wasn't me who did it but I thought you won't believe me. I would always muster up the courage to come in front of you guys and tell you. But I couldn't." Clyde explained.

"What about those people in the library who disappeared?" I questioned further. "It was all Chrysus. He was playing with your mind. He mostly attacks people when they are alone. When you saw the librarian and two people disappearing, he decided to target you as you were alone and possessed me. And the time I or you can say Chrysus tried to attack you, Taehyung came. And we couldn't do anything to you. At the party, I wasn't possessed at all. That's why I was behaving like my usual self." He said.

"As the prophecy foretold,"

"So this dude Chrysus. Is he always in you? Or not?" Taehyung said. "No. He comes in when he pleases, so whatever y'all are about to do, you have to be careful. You mustn't hurt me. I can't die." Clyde said as fear looked prominent in his eyes.

"Is this why fate brought us together?"

"We'll try our best." Jungkook mumbled. "Can you untie me?" Clyde requested. "Um..sure." Rachael said, her actions proved just how gullible she was. I was about to say that she shouldn't but it was too late.
