My hands trembled as I sat on the wooden chair and it creaked under my weight. My face went pale when I saw the recording thingy in the hands of none other than Agent Rei. "Okay, Federal Bureau of Investgation, interview between Agent Rei and Y/F/N. January 5, 2021 at 6:10 PM." She announced and set the recorder down on the metallic table.

"Y/N, what was the reason to do all this? All this teen-sleuth thing with your friends?" She asked.

"To find our friend also, Cole's sister."

"But, why? The police had closed this case and there were no leads to it. How did you do it?"

"Well, somehow it shows that we our smarter than the police." I chuckled at my response, but stopped when Agent Rei gave me a glare. Annoying bitch.

"I wasn't satisfied with what the police had done. I couldn't handle the sight of my friend crying and sulking everyday and making a chaos in school. I wanted to help him. My other friends also joined in."

"What about the tattoo? How did you see it?"

"At a birthday party. I saw through his shirt."

"So, you thought of going to his house because he had the same tattoo as the one on the polaroids?"

"Precisely."

"What did you do when you reached Clyde's house?"

"We couldn't do anything at first because he tied us up in his cellar thinking that we were trespassers."

"But you were trespassers, weren't you?"

I ignored her question and proceeded with my statement.

"He told us that we should stay the night because he didn't want his guests to be uncomfortable as it was pretty late at night."

"Guests? Two seconds ago you said that he called you trespassers."

No. No. Noooo. I didn't want her to ask this question because I was sure she would ask this when I would tell her about this staying-at-night thing. I should've said something cleverer. But I have to do something to convince her.

"We were shocked too at first. We were also pretty skeptical about it because why would the person who tied us up, offer us to spend a night at his cabin. But we couldn't do anything. He was threatening us. He locked us up in the cabin and went to his other cabin and we did what he told us to. We spent the night there."

I think that sounded pretty convincing as she gave me a nod and didn't bring that thing up again.

"Your friend, Jungkook, whom I last interviewed told me that after you got your suspicions over Clyde so you decided to follow him. Stalk him. Why? That's a crime."

Wait, what? Why would he say something like that to her? Oh my god. Then it clicked to my brain. He was apologising for this. But why would he expose this to her?!

"Y/N." Agent Rei's bold voice snapped me out of my reverie as I looked into her questioning eyes with a shocked look on my face.

"Clyde also stalked Serena......" I mumbled, hoping that she would drop the topic.

"Yeah, that's why he's in juvie."

What would I say to her now? Life lesson: Don't involve yourself in murder cases. I started biting my nails in nervousness but stopped immediately so that she wouldn't notice as if I'm acting suspicious.
