Mikey squinted, looking at Gerard's neck suspiciously, before the sides of his mouth pulled down and he groaned in disgust. "Is that another hickey? Wait, are those – are those teeth marks?"

Gerard's eyes widened, and a blush crept up his neck and to his cheeks. He covered his neck with his palms, squeaking and shifting on his legs uncomfortably. He really didn't want Mikey to see that. Well, fuck actually, he didn't want anyone to see that.

"Did you fuck someone again already?" Mikey asked, a large amount of distaste coating his voice – it was quite hostile, honestly. Gerard didn't like it.

"Jesus fuck, Gerard. You know I don't care how many people you sleep with – just cover up the fucking hickeys, I don't wanna see them." Mikey whined, the annoying little brother in him that Gerard knew never left coming back from the year of nineteen ninety.

"Okay, okay, just stop crying about it," Gerard mumbled with burning cheeks, pulling the neck of his jacket a bit higher.

"I swear, you have some freakish biting kink…" Mikey groaned, raking a hand through his hair and looking at something behind Gerard.

"Ugh great, prince charming is coming your way," Mikey sighed, and patted Gerard's shoulder in sympathy. "Stay strong brother." He said, and it might have seemed uncaring to anyone else, but Gerard saw the flicker of concern in his younger brother's eyes.

He would have loved for Mikey to stay there and save him from the dreaded encounter he knew was about to have, but unfortunately, he knew this was on him to handle. He made bad choices, dated the wrong people, and now it was coming back at him. Literally.

Plus, he may or may not haven't told Mikey the whole thing, but well, how did they saying go? Some things are better left unsaid. It was true after all, there were some things about his and Frank's deceased relationship that he'd rather Mikey not know.

But really, it wasn't his fault, it was like toxic people looking for relationships were just fucking drawn to him.

Gerard sighed, and hung his head low, watching Mikey leave. He balled his hands into fists inside his pockets and went the opposite direction than his younger brother, hoping to get as far away from his ex boyfriend.

Five minutes of walking, and Frank still hadn't came up to him, so Gerard sighed, hoping that this meant he was saved from encountering the man. He opened the door to a small café, hearing the bells ding softly as he entered. He made an order, and walked to the small bathroom – he wouldn't mind giving his face a nice refreshing splash of water.

Once he entered the bathroom, Gerard walked over to the sinks, and opened one of the taps. He cupped his hands sunder the steady stream of water, and splashed it on his face, rubbing the place between his eyebrows, sighing.

Gerard wiped his face with the sleeve of his shirt, making it damp from the water. He gripped the edges of the sink and opened his eyes, then almost screamed as he saw Frank standing behind him, a smirk stretched on his lips. His movements were as stealthy as a snake's and his steps as silent and graceful as a cat's.
