The class knew that Katsuki despised going Christmas shopping and despised anything to do with shopping for the holidays. But did they listen? No. Did they make him go Christmas shopping and get presents for all the other students while doing the same? Yes. Did they also force Shoto to go with him because they noticed a very bright spark between them? Hell to the yeah.

So now you have two boys sitting in a car six feet apart because they're not gay. Actually, that's a lie; they're both extremely gay. They both had their license but decided to go in Katsuki's car. His light blue 1952 pickup truck stopping at a light. When a Christmas song played on the radio, which Katsuki repaired himself, the two boys looked at each other for a second before turning off the music.

The car being silent until the two boys broke that silence by talking at the same time.

"So what do you-" they said at the same time. "Sorry, you go first," Shoto whispered out. Now yes, the two were a little flustered and definitely had a thing for each other. They both had a slight red hue forming on their cheeks but didn't want to say anything about it. Katsuki being the completely oblivious guy he is, sucks at trying to flirt, and yet when he doesn't try to flirt, he can get out a line.

Shoto was about to ask a question that maybe wasn't the best to ask at this time, but he was going for it. "...where were you yesterday?" he asked quietly. It took a while for Katsuki to respond. He didn't know what to say. Nor did he know if he wanted to say anything. "...I was just visiting my mom." he responds. "Oh," Shoto said underneath his breath.

"Why? Were you worried about me or something?" Katsuki asked teasingly. "N-No. J-Just wondering. That's all." he stuttered out. "We're here," Katsuki told the male, putting his car in park and turning it off.

Walking into the store, Shoto stood right next to Katsuki, his arm wrapped around Katsuki's left. He looked up for a second and noticed Shoto right next to him. Like attached to the hip. He raised his arm for a second and rubbed the back of his neck. "Uhh...what the fuck are you doing, icy-hot?" he asked nervously. Shoto didn't recognize what he did until he was called on it. His eyes widened, and he looked at the shorter, his cheeks glowing a red.

"Sorry," he whispered out, unhooking his arm. Except Katsuki was okay with it. He, for some reason, really liked the warmth that Shoto held. He was okay with his arm hooked around his arm, and yet he didn't say anything. He didn't know what to say. Yes, he may like him and maybe getting feelings for the male, but does that mean he's going to confess that to Todoroki? Absolutely not.

He's not the one to act on emotions like these. He's never even felt feelings like these. Though he may have treated Shoto horribly in the first semester of his first year, the two had started getting closer. After the USJ attack and him getting kidnapped, Katsuki began having night terrors, and Shoto was the one to help him get through them.

Granted, he always told the dual haired male to never speak of those moments to anyone, and Shoto kept those promises. The two have taken notice of how each begins to part from everyone when the holiday comes. They've noticed the smallest things about each other, and somehow they don't realize that they have.

Not without someone pointing it out. *cough cough* Shinso *cough cough*

Even then, the two refuse to acknowledge their feelings for each other.

____Back at the dorms____

Shoto and Katsuki were still at the store, and the whole class knew something was happening between the two. They knew that they both had pretty bad childhoods. Well, some of them did. Izuku knew Katsuki's mom was sick. Knew that she didn't have the 'flu' as Katsuki told everyone. He knew she had something worse.

She had cancer, and he knew only because his grandmother died from that. He also knew that Katsuki was his best friend, and he didn't want him to hurt, so he protected him along with his parents.

So he tried to make the holidays special for the ash-blonde. Just like how Momo tried to make the holidays special for Shoto.

Momo's dating Jiro, and she's known Todoroki since they were both eleven. They became best friends after that, and Momo was the first person Todoroki came out to and vise versa.

So while the two were out, they set up the Christmas tree and tried to make dinner instead of Katsuki doing it. Key word tried.

Izuku, Kirishima, and Shinso ended up cooking the food because the rest of them didn't know the meaning of a cookbook. So while the rest of the class put up the Christmas tree, those three boys focused on making the two's favorite meals. Izuku insisted on making Katsuki's favorite spicy curry recipe that Mitsuki used to make for him. Shinso was focusing on making Shoto's cold soba.

He found a written down recipe in Katsuki's handwriting for the cold soba. When they heard the door open to the dorms and the two come walking in with bags from Christmas shopping, they all started setting up the kitchen.

Both of the boys didn't notice the smell. They were talking and laughing together. Something that warmed Momo's and Izuku's hearts and made them extremely happy for them. Their best friends were happy even if it was just for a few hours.

Once they came down after putting the presents in Katsuki's dorm, they walk into the whole class sitting in the living room and kitchen, all smiling. "What did you idiots do?" Katsuki asked. The room was silent, and the way everyone was smiling gave him a gut feeling like someone broke or really fucked up. "Bakugo, take a waft of the air," Shoto recommended. When Katsuki breathed through his nose, he smelt the familiar smell of spicy curry.

He looked at the broccoli boy and felt tears sting his eyes. "You guys...you made...you made this?" he asked, pure shock over his face. "Well, actually, it was me, Eijiro and Shinso!" Izuku said excitedly. "We made both of your favorite dishes!" Eijiro yelled. The two were in absolute shock.

Katsuki didn't know what he felt, and...and Shoto felt like he was gonna burst. Katsuki didn't know if he wanted to run out, look at the food, or go up to Deku and thank him. "Deku..." he trailed off. Izuku's head perked up, and he looked at his childhood best friend/rival. "You remembered. You remembered what my mom taught you." Katsuki whispered out. "Of course I did!" he responded.

He didn't even notice the Christmas tree. He just noticed the effort that the whole put into making this happen, and he was happy...a feeling he hadn't felt in a while.
